"We were over the moon with our room. The design is very modern, sparse but comfortable, very clean lines and a fantastic shower. There is a terrace outside which then gives onto a view of Bonifacio. There are two pools - one is a little small and it might be wise to have one for adults only. The planting throughout the property is exquisite with very clever use of herbs. Top marks for gardening overall and Karp fish discretely swimming in little water features. Food …. breakfast is fine, although a little rustic in presentation. If you want lunch or dinner there is a very limited menu. It’s a shame because I am not sure it would require much effort to bring it up a notch. The staff were lovely and attentive."

"I have nothing but praise for Resistance Sophia. My Eco Lodge was very comfortable with all the equipment you could need. The bed was super, a bonus was the TV with lots of channels including Netflix etc. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The staff were superb. Everyone from the owner/manager to the rest of her team were super helpful, friendly and supportive. A great holiday."

"Bit of an odd hotel to be honest. Rooms are modern and massive, with a great view of the harbour. Despite the rooms being newly reneovated (I think) they were already in need of some maintenance. The hotel's location is perfect. Service was however a bit patchy, with reception at times not following through on request (like booking a taxi for a specific time). Breakfast was limited but okay."

El hotel está en el estancamiento de otras islas en barco. El hotel es una pequeña estación de trenes, y el encuentro de la antigua ciudad de 6 Euro es muy conveniente. Debe reservar una habitación con terraza en el cuarto piso, el paisaje es muy bonito"

"This should have been a great stay except the staff let this hotel down. Completely disinterested except for 1 lovely lady one morning. No smiles, no assistance for experiences around the town, everything was difficult. A pity as it has a beautiful pool and view. The rooms are nice, but who designs a room where there is no hanging for ladies dresses? There is no restaurant for dinner but some limited room service. As it is in a very isolated position you need to book and travel for dinner along some very narrow roads."

"The person who deserves the most praise is a middle-aged lady with glasses and blonde curly hair at the front desk. She left a deep impression on me and enthusiastically introduced the places worth seeing in Bonifacio. Even though public transportation in the city isn't very convenient, she helped us find a way to get to Ajaccio, which was incredibly helpful. She also told us about the precautions for calling a taxi. I am truly grateful to her; such an employee deserves a big reward."
