I don't normally leave reviews but our experience was so terrible I needed to. I would not recommend a wedding here. Staff were very kind, but I assume very understaffed. I agree with other reviews- this hotel is not up to Marriot standards. I booked here 6 months in advance for a wedding and they "confirmed" we had a one bedroom suite after they toured it to my family. We needed the space for the wedding party to get ready. Less than 2 weeks before the wedding, I found out they messed up and tried to cover it up by comping a junior suite. Everyone makes mistakes but they didn't apologize or anything. It would have been a disaster the day of the wedding to find out and I had to take the day off work to correct their error. They did comp rooms but not for the entire stay. The rooms were not great and had mismatched paint splotches. Not what you want for a wedding night. They also messed up other reservations, never apologized, and couldn't even provide a high chair for us to get ready. They gave us sparkling wine and chocolate which was very kind, but the whole thing really did kind of ruin our wedding night. They also had no one to help with luggage and my 70+ year old father injured himself trying to do it himself and got his arm stuck in the elevator. How no one offered to help an elderly man is beyond me. We brought them around 30 rooms of business, and our hotel block was more expensive than booking off the website. The pool was also closed. We paid for a shuttle and tipped them well and they left people at the venue. This was after they asked if it was the last one and they should pack in. They had to Uber back. The breakfast was really subpar and expensive. We didn't have products stocked in our room and room service was hesitant to give us more towels and supplies. The bathroom doors didn't lock.
