Our stay was pleasant. Friendly staff. We were made to feel very welcome. Secure parking is a bonus. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Excellent location.

This is a beautiful property situated conveniently near the major malls. Staff are amazing food was excellent and overall a highly reccomended stay.

Villa Bali is close to Mimosa shopping mall in Bloemfontein and also close to Mediclinic. The room I had was not spacious, but it had everything I needed. The hotel offers free wifi. On the Sunday evening I arrived it was very slow, but the next morning it was fine. I did not have dinner at the hotel, only breakfast. Everything was your standard 4 star offering, but I liked the special touch of the little nougat. Some Early Grey tea in the room or at breakfast would also have been nice (I apply the Earl Grey Test to establishments - my personal quirk). Staff members were efficient, helpful and friendly.

During the year I stayed at Villa Bali quite a few times. One thing about them that stands out is that the service was consistently at a very high level whenever I returned there. (I stayed there five times, 3 days at a time with two or three weeks between every visit.) To deliver consistently excellent service is no mean feat and deserves a special mention. They pay attention to detail in the rooms. Rooms are well-serviced, very clean, very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. (Neighbours making a noise can sometimes be disturbing.) Their food is also very good and they offer a nice breakfast selection. I ordered room service a number of times in the evening. Very tasty food - and always delivered with a big smile. In winter when it was ice cold and frost covered the cars, they covered each car in the parking's windshield with a little blanket so that you didn't have to de-ice you windshield in the morning before leaving. That was just another level of being considerate and helpful towards your guests. Well done Villa Bali - you and your staff (and especially the reception staff) deserve a huge shout out for your good work. PLEASE keep it up!

It was quite unfortunate that I was not allowed to change my dates since I was no longer arriving on the day I had intended. So I pretty much suffered a loss because of that. The room was seemed clean but did not smell fresh and the bathroom was alright.
