The Dragonfly

Totally inclusive b and b style hotel. I’ve experienced many hostelries in Blackpool over the years. I’ve never stayed in the perfect place, but all considered; The Dragonfly is the best place to stay when all things considered. For example , if you get up for breakfast, you can have the best quality cooked English I’ve experienced outside a five star hotel. Six quid for poached eggs and smoked haddock? Toast, cereal, fresh coffee? Yup. Or a full English with proper farm sausages etc. And the rooms are full of home comforts. £35. Comfy, en-suite, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, coffee etc in room. Most importantly, the owners are NICE.

Excellent place and the owners are lovely can’t fault and will be back. Good location clean rooms nice friendly owners. Local to all the bars and you won’t find a nice friendly hotel in Blackpool to compare to this. I will be back very very soon book direct to get the best deals.

Just went for an overnight stay with family, it was very reasonably priced, and the service was very friendly. :) Not too far from the city centre or the station (just over 5m from Blackpool North), too.

My son and I stayed at the Dragonfly. It was an absolute pleasure staying here. The owners Paul and Adam were great, nothing is to much bother. The breakfast was very nice. The rooms are majoritly ensuite, comfy beds tea and coffee selection very good, biscuits also in the room and a chocolate on the bed on arrival.

Just got back last night after a lovely 2 night's stay here, me and my mum had seperate rooms, my room was very nice, very comfy bed, great powerful shower, nice peacock wallpaper, the breakfast was fantastic, just £6 and you get loads!! Inc juice, coffee, yogurts, cereal, full English breakfast or you can have egg on toast for example. The man running it was very friendly, he was name Paul, and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a 2 night stay for the darts, can’t fault Paul & Scarlett, very helpful and friendly. Comfy room, lovely breakfast and cheap bar, would happily return, ideal location and for the price can not go wrong
