Premier Inn Blackpool (North Pier)

We've been to a premier inn before and this one was better than the last, building seems newer, the staff were so helpful and attentive from reception to breakfast staff, even the odd one you meet in the lifts always said hello, good morning. The food at the restaurant was top notch. The beds were comfy, quiet and a Seaview as well. The only drawback was having 1 working lift out of three when we stayed but that was down to work being done.

We stayed two nights in a standard room with a view in April 2025. First the positive - the staff were all friendly, helpful and ready to try and sort any problems. Now the negatives. PUBLIC AREAS This hotel has five floors and is served by three lifts - if which only one was working. Apparently this has been the case for some time and it led to more waiting for the lift than is acceptable. The gents toilet adjacent to the restaurant has two cubicles. Both had broken locks meaning that you could not lock the door if you wanted to use the facility. OUR ROOM ON THE FIFTH FLOOR The first time we left the room we had to pull the door multiple times before it would lock. When we turned the duvet down, we discovered a large brown stain on the bottom sheet. This led us to ask for the sheet to be changed and when the staff member brought the sheet replacement up we asked him to look at the door lock. By this time it would not lock at all - rendering the room unsafe. We also asked him to look at flushing the toilet and, like us, he was unable to get it to flush. These failures led to us having to move rooms. We were offered a complimentary breakfast the following day because of these problems.

We moved here from a really bad b&b (Kings Cross Hotel In Chanley Road) and we’re so pleased we did! Lovely rooms. Really great staff. Food fair for the price. Will always book premier in future as you know what you’re going to get! Short walk to tower and nice restaurants.

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting to see the illuminations. It’s a lively area but close to the beach front with plenty of bars/shops/restaurants near by. The Hotel itself was your usual Premier Inn standards. I would stay again if I ever came back to Blackpool.

Lovely hotel and great location. My only criticism is the 3pm check in rule. Our rooms were ready but wouldn't let us in them. Had to pay £15 for an early check in at 2pm, bearing in mind we had been travelling 7hrs so just needed our room. Think this could be wavered if rooms are ready....great stay otherwise.

This hotel is brilliantly situated for both the north pier and Blackpool tower. There is a good selection of different types of restraunt local if you dont want to eat in the attached bar. The hotel is also only a short walk to Winter Gardens. The hotel itself is modern, clean and the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable of the area. There were 3 lifts although only 1 worked but wasn't a problem for us, the rooms were spacious and clean and smelt lovely and fresh. Bed was comfortable and inviting, especially after a day's walking. We booked a cooked breakfast for the morning which is one of the best we have ever experienced with Premier inn (we've stopped in a few) Fantastic food and helpfull staff made our stay special. Thank you guys for such a wonderful experience.
