Le Papillon Hotel Blackpool

An absolute bargain !! So myself and my friend have both just stayed here this weekend. I had originally booked the Saturday night as I was coming to Blackpool for a night out with a group of friends who were all sharing an air bnb. I asked my friend newly single to come join me but she decided to make the most of it and booked Friday and Saturday in her own room. When I arrived Saturday she said her Friday nights sleep was the best she’s had in ages, so that was great to hear she stayed in room no1, I was expected to check in after three so when I arrived in Blackpool slightly earlier I went to the air bnb with my friends to wait till check in time but needn’t have bothered as I hadn’t noticed a text from the manager asking when I was arriving as the room was ready to go. I checked in around 2:30 and the member of staff showed me the lounge area with tea coffee and breakfast bits and bobs although breakfast as an option isn’t listed at the moment. I think it’s a seasonal/staff thing perhaps not quite sure so the fact they left out some cereals and milk in the fridge when it wasn’t included was great !! The whole group went for breakfast together at a place just around the corner unlimited hot drinks and unlimited toast !! Can’t argue with that I suppose. But had I not been part of a larger group in Blackpool I wouldn’t have chose to stay here without the breakfast option. So onwards and upwards to my room no6 top of the shop and at the front of the hotel ! I imagine my room was probably one of the largest and the furniture and fittings were all quite good quality for such a small hotel and the tv massive !! I had my own fridge and tea and coffee making facilities as well as lots of biscuits !! Not just the standard two ! The room was immaculate !! My friend dis complain her room was melting on the Friday as the heating was on 24hours however what she failed to notice and I did because my room was opposite, her radiator was up at 5 and mine was off, my room only took a couple hours to heat up hers took a lot longer to cool down purely because the curtains were so thick !! I will definitely be back here to stay if it’s available when I’m down again and hopefully if it’s just a solo trip or we’re all in the hotel together breakfast will be available xx Thanks for the effort you’ve defo succeeded my expectations

Great Stay.. Asiri was extremely welcoming and showed us to our room,which was spotlessly clean and fresh, tea and coffee and biscuits were provided and the pint of fresh milk was a lovely touch..the bed was so comfy so had a great night's sleep. The complimentary cereals, fruit,tea and coffee in the communal lounge again is a bonus.. All in all a great place, near to everything but on a quiet road with parking outside and very easy to find from the motorway.. highly recommend

My husband and I came for a long weekend for our wedding anniversary and to take advantage of the bank holiday. This is a really lovely B&B and Darren is wonderful - very friendly and really helpful. The breakfast is really good too! This is a great location - very central to everything you would want.

Stayed for one night Easter Saturday. Booked 4 rooms for 8 people. Owner Daz was extremely helpful. Rooms and en suites were spotless and good sizes. Bottled Water, Tea, Coffee & Hot Chocolate were provided in all rooms with fresh milk. They even put a carton of juice and an Easter chocolate bunny for my 9 year old daughter who was in the triple room with us. Breakfast was superb with most of us having a full English and the kids having freshly made pancakes with bacon and maple syrup which they loved. Overall great owners, great location, spotlessly clean and great breakfast. You will be hard pressed to find somewhere better. To be honest I have stayed in 5 star hotels which weren’t as clean and had better service than Le Papillon. Keep it up guys. Will always book here in the future when visiting Blackpool.

Just got home after a wonderful stay in Le Papillion. Daz and Jo made us feel very welcome. Their BnB is a short walk from the Tower and attractions, it is newly decorated and feels lovely, fresh and light. The bedrooms were well appointed with very comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay here, the breakfasts were gorgeous and really set us up for the day. We would not stay anywhere else in Blackpool now. Thank you

Booked April 2014 (easter) for 3 nights. My husband, me and our 2.5 year old .The things everyone needs to know: Near to all attractions/trams, parking available and the room we stayed in (double with ajoining room) brilliantly clean, as described and comfortable. Fresh towels, beds made, bottled water every day with tea and coffee. Everything being there that was listed, television with controls, Freeview, hairdryer, wi-fi etc. The breakfast was amazing, better than a lot of other B&B's for a few reasons: Great choice, civilised hour served, perfectly cooked and so fast, I have no idea how the lady does it- especially when on one occasion everyone came down at 5 minute intervals and she still managed to be no more than 10 minutes for each group. The 'Beyond' bit is because our daughter had a tummy bug on the 1st night we got there , she had vomiting and diarrhoea. Hazel was very understanding and even washed all our soiled bed wear as well as sheets etc. We were truely upset to have this happen and it was eased by her sympathetic and kind response. When we return to brilliant Backpool this is the ONLY place we would consider :-) Thank You
