Travelodge Blackpool South Promenade

I was truly disappointed with the hotels services E.g The WiFi was not working in the bedrooms and only in the lobby.The receptionist were not that polite.My daughter who is deaf was told when she complained about the WiFi and she was told that it’s not the hotels responsibility for the WiFi.

All good have stayed there before

The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is plentiful and there’s a wide variety to choose from. Kids eat for £1 which was excellent value! The room was clean and we didn’t hear any noise from other rooms. The hotel is in a n excellent location right opposite both the Pleasure Beach and the Sandcastle. The only minor issue was the bathroom could do with a little tlc;spots of mould around the bottom of the shower base. Overall we had a good stay and would definitely stay again!

Myself and my partner decided to stay overnight, but then we both decided to stay another night as well grate location walking distance to the pleasure beach as well the sand castle and easy to get a tram to all the location you need to go would stay their again without a doubt.

Stayed here numerous times whilst staying in Blackpool always had a good stay rooms are clean. Unfortunately this time was the complete opposite. On first glance the room was fine. But it didn’t take long to find that it was filthy. Dusty skirting boards and light fittings, mouldy shower gel dispenser, no hand soap and a disgusting fan that got so hot cause the motor was full of dust. It was so bad that I actually took it apart and washed the blades and metal front and back in the shower. There was a stain on the chair and carpet the window was filthy. I complained to reception nothing was done and no one really cared. Hallway carpets were filthy with stains and just needed a damn good hoover Instead of using these robotic hoovers that do nothing and don’t get into the corners of the carpet actually hoover properly would make all the difference. The plug sockets were coming away from the wall the usb in them were rusty and didn’t work.
