Decent place to stay

The room smelt of damp, the carpet smelt dusty, mould in the bathroom, one plug socket in the room. It was furnished with dark wood, windows were dirty. I slept fully clothed as I was worried what lurked on the mattress (I dare not look). They had the cheek to charge £10 a night for our miniature cockerpoo, £30 in all, I had to bath her when we got home as smelt of the room.

The restaurant is really good food was good staff very good especially Eden he is so very friendly nothing is too much trouble for him Alway cheerful even when busy if busy and problem he will sort out and will definitely be comming again . And recommend it to other people

Arrived here for the first time as going to Ewood Park to see the Football, stayed in room 6 and first impressions good but no lightbulbs in the bedside lamps and bathroom needs a bit of tlc, other than that pretty tidy and would return. Thanks Karl and Emma

Room was full of moths every night and looked like the carpet was been eaten by them. Rooms need up grading and need a very deep clean Room could do with a few more plugs as one is not enough Breakfast could be hotter and more choice on the pastry side

I recently came here to stay over for a wedding, I must say what a fantastic place, the place its self could do with a little more updating but I must say all the staff helped me with any issues needed. The housekeepers in the hotel whom I asked for names jodie and elaine are the most helpful and kind full staff I've met. Anything we needed we got, had such a laugh with them both. I will definitely be staying again and will be highly recommended. Hopefully jodie and elaine will be working when I next book. Overall 10/10 staff.

Room looks tired,only one single plug socket in the room,not good,pillows small also struggled to close the front window ,surely this should have been picked up the staff,looks like it's been like this for a long time. Shower was good ,bed comfy. Breakfast, we was told at check in the breakfast was continental option, we was fine with that go in at 8.45 saw people eating a cooked breakfast, which we was told by the server was now put away but she did offer to making something hot,if we had of known when checking in we would have got up earlier to have the breakfast,we had to ask for cutlery non available 9.01 the server started putting everything away,would have been nice just to ask us and the 5 other people if we wanted to get another hot drink before everything was moved. 7-9 for breakfast isn't good should be on till 10 especially on a Sunday. We wont be staying again £88 very overpriced for a very tired looking room ,if your wanting to stay in Blackburn go for the Hampton hotel, really nice place.

Me and my wife stayed here 23.12 - 26.12 The pub and restaurant areas are good and we had breakfast 2 mornings which was good However the hotel rooms do need serious modernisation Our room had ONE plug socket (the tv electric etc is all in behind wall) Parts of bathroom were moldy with tiles coming away or rust etc At times flushing toilet sounds like a foghorn with their airflow pipe system etc Overall was an average rating as with budget of £50 per night you get what you paid for and there are im sure far worse places but if your after luxury and comfort you would be advised to go elsewhere

Horrible place, in need of major refurbishment and I mean MAJOR. Dusty, dark and dirty. Breakfast was disgusting and ordering food at night was a mission They have a cheek charging that much for rooms I even had to ask for shower gel which one of the cleaners gave me but it doesnt fit on any part of the shower area
