Hotel Theatre

This is a really good choice in Bitola. First of all, the city is brilliant. Travel guides will tell you it’s a place you might think about visiting, but it’s better than that. My first impression of the hotel was it wasn’t that central and difficult to walk to the city centre. It’s probably just under a 10 minute walk, but google maps make it complicated and I found another way that was straightforward and easy. The rooms were simple but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable. There were small issues like the TV remote not working and using the TV manually, as well as the shower head broken and pointing inwards towards the wall. Very difficult to stand under, but because it hit the wall it bounced off and sprayed across the floor. The staff were fantastic. I can’t rate them highly enough. The hotel was enclosed in a beautiful courtyard in a quiet area that allowed for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was OK, but not great.

Very friendly and professional staff. In addition, very comfortable and cozy accommodation. Lovers of ethic art and crafts can enjoy the decoration inside the hotel. Highly recommended for visit. c! I has a short, but great experience !!

We stayed a couple of nights in a studio apartment in their annex building, about 100m away from the main hotel. We were happy to be able to park our car in a spacious secure parking lot just outside our room. The location is great, only around a 5 minute walk to the pedestrian street, supermarket, restaurants, and parks. Not too much road noise, especially with all the windows and doors closed – we had a very peaceful sleep. The gals at reception were really friendly and helpful and spoke good English, some of the best hotel staff we’ve encountered in this country. Our 2nd storey apartment was a little on the small side, but was modern and very clean. We had a small kitchenette with all the basics and a small balcony but not much space to really unpack things. The bed was essentially a fold out sofa bed, but it was very comfortable. The Wifi worked great but the TV had poor reception due to a missing cable connector on the back – the naked antenna wire was just jammed into the fitting. One bonus was the small washing machine in the bathroom which we made use of. The shower was a little disappointing – good hot water but when the shower head was placed in the holder, it sprayed everywhere except where you wanted it, making a watery mess in the bathroom every time it was used. The breakfast was a real high point, a great little buffet in a nice setting with plenty of hot and cold dishes. We loved Mustafa, the friendly resident cat as well. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to other travelers wanting a great base in Bitola.

Stayed in the apartments. NOT a good deal for the price. The smallest hotel room I have ever seen. Hard uncomfortable bed. Not much else. Go elsewhere. Or pay the big bucks and stay in the msin building which (hopefully) is nicer.

Bitola, Hotel Teatar Hotel ligt redelijk centraal. Kamer is groot genoeg, bed ligt goed, ramen kunnen open. Mijn kamer zat boven het terras. Tot zeker halfelf was het luidruchtig, mede door twee spelende kinderen (5-7 jaar?) Neem geen kamer richting het terras. Ontbijt was goed. Ook hier staat een koffiekan op de warmhoudplaatje. En dan heb je al gauw bittere, oude koffie. Maar de vriendelijke medewerker biedt ook een vers gezet kopje koffie aan uit een semi-espressoapparaat.

L’hotel TEATAR è in una posizione strategica, a pochi minuti di passeggiata dal centro. Bellissima architettura nello stile tipico macedone, é curato nei minimi particolari , e all’interno si possono vedere splendidi arazzi e vestiti tipici tradizionali. Ringrazio la gentilezza delle ragazze alla reception,di chi prepara la ricca colazione, di chi , sempre con il sorriso, ci ha accolto sin da subito con grande ospitalità . Il posto migliore per alloggiare a Bitola !
