Kuriftu Resort & Spa Bishoftu

The resort was the nicest place the staff was very well mannered and gave us the best experience ever. we would like to thank the staff and for sure our next trip will be here at kuriftu resort bishoftu. and will share my experience to others thanks☺️ .

This is the first time ever I experiance such an imaculate customer service , unique personalization, attention to details , all staff member goes beyond extra mile to satisfy each guest no matter the age or any explanation , honestly the best resort ever , I can’t thank enough the kitchen staff helped me when my daughter was coughing and sick , they sent hot milk with honey , From the reception guest support EARMIAS , am beyond Amazed by his yes philosophy and went above and beyond to satisfy our need when we request him to get us Corn on the cob , after his duty finished he went to the market and bought and brought it back to us , I mean , who would do that , luckily Kuriftu staffs does , they are well trained and so kind all of them, this is the place that I will recommend to anyone to expect topnotch guest service , bless u all ,we love u , can’t wait to come back,

We had a successful review meeting from 25 - 29 June 2024. The conference package, hall, accommodation was good. The staff were very supportive. Many thanks to the Manager, Mahlet who was always reachable, diligent and reliable. Kuriftu Resort needs to install intercom service in all the rooms and meeting areas incase of emergency. This is to promote more efficient, effective and timely services.

An amazing place with wonderful staff and outstanding hospitality. The charming Maulid was amazingly supportive and professional in her undertakings. I would come back anytime, any day. The pillow set up during the teambuilding retreat was an amazing and one of a kind set up. Cheers to the entire team for Job well done

It was an amazing place to stay with a family. All the staff are amazing we have been so many different places so far this place is 100% satisfying on everything..the room the food specially breakfast was amazing we love it . Thank you all the staff also the hotel manager!

This place is an amazing oasis in Ethiopia… A calm place where you can take care of yourself with delicious food and several services such as massages among others. We felt really welcomed, relaxed, in an integrated place in the overwhelming Ethiopian nature with the best hospitality. Thank you so much!

I went there with my friend Grace. We originally booked 3 days but we liked it there a lot so stayed an extra two days. The resort is very spacious It has an amazing Water Park with various water slides and high (and low) pressure water jets which massage your body (very refreshing), and a gidt shop and a restaurant with lovely large soft cushioned area outside where you can relax and look out at the water slides. And the water is cold, which is very nice as in previous hotel we stayed in Addis the water was warm and was like swimming in a bath with the sun beaming down in you. They must have a cooling system for the water in the water park and also the two swimming pools. The only negative comment I would make about this lovely water park is that the music (which was lovely African & Indian beat music which I liked a lot) was very loud and you can hear it throughout the resort all day long, so loud that when we arrived we were given rooms that were very close to the water park and we couldn't just relax and have rest in afternoon with the music so loud, but they accomodated us and moved us to a very nice location beside the lake where you could barely (but still could) hear it. The complimentary Swedish massage was very nice and relaxing - we actually got two free massages since we made a fresh 2 day booking after the original 3 day booking was up the lovely hotel manager (Yemishrach) kindly agreed to give us another free massage. There are three restaurants at the resort, one at the water park which mainly serves breakfast but is open throughout the day for drinks, and two restaurants that serve lunch and dinner throughout the day. The food was excellent and the staff so friendly. The only suggestion I would make is that it wpuld have been nicer if they had different menus at the two restaurants.........but lovely food. There is a really nice cinema there which accomodates private parties up to I'd say around 50 people?, so you can book a time slot and you choose your own movie from a large list of choices from online movie providers. The wi-fi wasn't strong and kept stalling and restarting as it used the router from reception which is about 100m away. It really needs its own dedicated wi-fi router in the cinema room which I suggested to them - hopefully they will act on this suggestion and install one and so your cinema experience will be great! My final comment, and probably the most important, is that all the staff there were so so so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help you. And when I say they 'went out of their way' in a lot of cases I mean literally, as when I asked some staff where a certain place was (when I was finding my bearings in this large resort the first day or two) instrad of just pointing and explaining where to go they would actually walk up there with you to show you. Friendliness and helpfulness was the defining character I found in Ethiopians throughout my 10 day holiday there and this was there in a

Great view, great service! My family enjoyed our time. From the reception to lunch to the Ethiopian traditional coffee ceremony, we had a great experience. We look forward to our night here and the water park for the little ones in the morning.

We were looking for somewhere safe to travel outside of Addis. This resort was a food choice. They had 3 restaurants and a water park attached to the resort. The staff were mostly friendly and the lake view room was great. They have complimentary fire place in the evenings where they'll light one so you can relax on the deck. Also they have kayaking. Food was particularly good.
