Beachfront Bicheno ★★★

"Check in process was fast and efficient. Room cleanliness was a lacking as there are previous guest’s hair on the toilet floor. Balcony was dusty. Bed was comfortable. Great sea view and can see sun rise!"

Wintersun Gardens Motel ★★★

"Very nice room layout, now run by a young couple, great location. Plenty of sunshine during the day, very quiet at night, and there are communal BBQ facilities. You should actually go to Lobster Shacks and buy fresh BBQ and cook it yourself."

Diamond Island Resort, Restaurant & Bar and Penguin Show ★★★★

"El personal (jóven) que nos trajo a ver los pingüinos es muy útil, se aseguró de que todos nosotros vimos un pingüino tratando de localizarlos y mostrarnos."

Bicheno by the Bay ★★★

"En general, fue una gran experiencia y conseguimos capturar los ojos de los pingüinos cercanos."

Bicheno East Coast Holiday Park ★★★

Sandpiper Ocean Cottages ★★★

"We went to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary and my husbands 71st birthday, we stayed in Hanalei Cottage a 2 bedroom nice cottage. We went on Friday stayed till Tuesday, we decided to not cook big dinners while away but there is a full size kitchen with all the kitchen ware you need. On arrival you are given a beautiful welcome basket of goodies, milk, butter, sourdough bread, eggs, two types of muslies we loved this and ate it all. The Cottage was well stocked with all the creature comforts you need, was clean, has a lovely veranda all the while very private and so quite you just hear the ocean just off in the distance. We found the access to the beach very easy and had it to ourselves each time we went down. Sandpipers is dog friendly our greyhound Wally loved it and was enthralled with the smells, the little noises in the scrub. Bichino is only a short drive away with everything you need, supermarket, takaways, post office, newsagent and bottle shop just to name a few."

Apartments on Fraser Bicheno ★★★★

"You can park right next to the house. The house itself is spacious and very comfortable, with heating in the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and both bedrooms. The bathroom even has a kiddie tub and a washing machine, so clothes dry super fast with the heater after washing. There are tables and chairs in both the front and back yards, perfect for chatting or stargazing. We missed out on booking a penguin tour, but the landlady told us that penguins actually come ashore all along the coast from the lobster shack to the blowhole. We waited at the lobster shack parking lot and were so thrilled to actually see penguins!"
