It is a beautiful lodge, the food is amazing, the national park is incredible, and I had some of the most incredible customer service ever. I ended up getting dropped off in the wrong place by a bus, and Dalpat at the lodge stepped in to speak to locals to get me back in track. As a foreigner, his assistant and support was priceless. In addition, they have an in-house naturalist who speaks English well. I loved my time at the lodge and will definitely come again if I can.

We stayed for a night - room no 119 . Manager Dalpat Singh Ji was very helpful . Naturalist Amitbhai vegad showed us around the park . He has immense knowledge on birds - we were lucky to spot hyena , jungle cat , pelican, painted stork , flamingo, purple swamp hen , darter and of course black buck - food and property facility are excellent- very good place to unwind

Amit - Naturalist Thanks so much for sharing your excellent knowledge of birdlife and wildlife during our stay at the Blackbuck Safari Lodge. You were thoughtful of our interest in wildlife, allowing us to understand your comments and information for us to take many great photos. To complete our memorable trip, you even broke the speed record in the hope of seeing the hyenas. We were successful however in sighting the wolf, the blackbuck and a jungle cat with her kitten. Many, many thanks from Graham and Sandra Hotel Overall, a pleasant and comfortable hotel, with helpful and attentive staff. Unfortunately at the time of our stay, the hotel pool was not in the best of conditions and therefore we were unable to use it. Unknown to us, Gujarat is a vegetarian state and therefore a lack of meat was a problem for myself. Rooms were comfortable and clean

We stayed for 1 night at the lodge. We felt very welcome the entire time. The room is good and although water pressure was a bit unstable even the showers were pleasant, which to our experience is not always te case in India. We enjiyed a fantastic private safari with a knowledgable guide, and were lucky enough to spot wolves, striped hyena and jungle cats. Only negative point is that the pool was not open, even though the property is sold ad having a swimming pool. We would have liked a dip when we arrived after a long car ride .

excellent stay... without this comfort to go and see velavadar park would have been difficult. excellent birding/wildlife guide Mr. Amit Vegad was the best part to have. to show a Eurasian curlew while driving the jeep and stopping to show us in late evening shows his interest in the subject. spotting a rare site - jungle cat transferring a kitten in middle of the road in savana grass land was icing on the cake. also could film blackbuck fighting for territory, all 3 harriers (male and female) in best light was also very pleasing. the serene nature and moving around in savana grass land away from all hustle bustle of city life in diwali was a diwali well spend in nature. in 5 days of stay we took 5 safaris and 2 days of rest. it was excellent. food was good - could have been better but we got what we needed to be relaxed and happy. staff and team was very cooperative and smiling. worth visiting.

Had a wonderful stay at Black Buck Safari Lodge. The food was excellent, also jain food was very nice – freshly prepared and the hospitality was truly top-notch. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Its location near Ahmedabad makes it a perfect getaway for a short 2-day outing. Surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful retreat from the city, it’s ideal for anyone looking to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

The stay was exceptionally comfortable and the rooms were clean. Food was the highlight of the stay! Staff is super friendly and always ready to help!!!! The place is very safe for kids to be around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best hospitality and food amazing property with lots of activities for both children and adults and amazing greenery the rooms were very clean and spacious best place to relax for the weekend the safari was the best part with wonderful sightings of black buck

Best place to stay with frds and family and food is very nice kichen is very clean and staf is very coopreative must visit and they provide safari and it is must do activity room r very clean vrate are very low compare to other properties i will sugest every one plan to go to velavader ro stay here
