The room was cleaner than what I thought. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was very nice. The house was near Bewdley station which was worth for visiting.

You are welcomed warmly & the people there are very friendly. The room is cosy, immaculately clean and great for the price. Great nights sleep and breakfast included. I stayed for one night but will definitely stay for a full weekend next time.

My hubby & I decided to go for breakfast today. We've often driven past but this is the first time we've popped in. From the start we loved the place! Friendly staff, lovely clean & cosy cafe, super comfy chairs & a great menu to chose from. We both had a vegan breakfast which was lush! Will definitely go again & will highly recommend to friends & family . Thank you 😊

Our experience was below average, for £. Room very small, our door handle missing, Somebody else's medication was found just under the sideboard (could not be missed) Bed - not to my comfort, slept poorly, cold room and not very welcoming, On our arrival, the welcome was not as I would expect from any "guest house" NO PARKING, and the recommended parking by this what i would call a "bedsit" Locks up at 19:30 and reopens "early", there was no mention of the parking until you get a confirmation email, because of the nature of our visit. This was not good enough, and the local parking was shocking, and at the time there are roadworks which made parking even more difficult, this "guest hse" is NOT suitable for disabled, Breakfast : was ok, but was told that mushrooms are not available due to "they take too long to cook" very odd as they only take minutes, the tea/coffee/juices did not come, I had to ask mid breakfast, And anything from "basic standard English" have to pay extra, even a capachino was extra charge, 1, parking situation should be high lighted 2, I would not advertise as a guest hse 3, cleaning is poor- should NEVER find other people medication, 4, TV , signal would be better, I would not stay or recommend this accommodation Good point : close to canel for a nice stroll,

Considering the rating, I was expecting much better. On the plus side, the cafe is nice, as was the breakfast, and the staff are really helpful. However… No parking, and the car park is not particularly close. Loud road noise, drafty windows, and very basic accommodation. We had to change rooms because there was a constant noise from the central heating. The building is quirky, but the stairs are narrow, steep, and windy, and the ceilings are low. The bed had a cheap or old mattress that was lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower water pressure was useless, which was lucky, because the drain was blocked so higher pressure would have flooded the bathroom. Overall very disappointing and poor value. Fortunately only one night.

Lovely homely guest house, comfortable and well presented room with all the amenities you need during your stay. The breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty with locally sourced products. Stacey & the staff were very attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend to those visiting Bewdley and surrounding areas and will be rebooking in the future.

I chanced upon this place Sunday lunchtime when I was looking for a bite to eat but although the fare was OK if a bit pricey the staff were not very attentive. Ordered a coffee and bacon sandwich. When the coffee came, there was no milk (as you would normally expect to get in any other cafe or coffee shop). I had to go back to the serving hatch to request some. When the sandwich came, I wasn't asked whether I wanted sauce and again I had to specifically request this. Finally, the staff seem to have very little local knowledge- maybe they weren't local- and didn't know whether the road outside towards Bewdley river bridge was open for pedestrians (as it turned out it was). The staff were quite busy but I don't think this is a valid excuse for the not very good service.

Stayed for a long weekend, warm friendly hostess, great food, cozy rooms, comfy beds.Within easy reach of Bewdley literally a 5-10minutes walk, a 2 minute walk to the railway station where you can leave your car.It is secure after 7pm when the gates are locked. Highly recommend this guest house, we have re booked for next year.🙂

Slightly disappointed, great reviews really don't reflect the actual experience. Upgraded to a family room but couldn't use the bathroom on 1st day due to maintenance so had to use alternative facilities downstairs. VERY noisy location, woken very early by traffic noise that was exasibated by railway bridge echoes. The lightning in the room was very poor with no dressing/make-up area for my wife. The room was also dusty and the bathroom needs updating. The only redeeming thing was the breakfast and the staff.
