Hotel maravilloso con todas las instalaciones que necesita para un gran fin de semana. Las habitaciones fueron de alta calidad y el personal fue arriba y más allá. Especial grito a Jude que hizo nuestro fin de semana especial. La ubicación perfecta para caminar y también para los que salen por un paseo por el río.

We can’t say enough about how perfect this place is. Sean and Mary-Ann are exceptional hosts and such lovely people. The guest house is picture perfect and our room had everything you need, including special welsh tea and biscuits! The views from our top floor room were breathtaking. It is a short walk into town and there is a lovely pub just a short stroll away with excellent meals. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we were accompanied by a robin in the bird feeder outside the beautiful bay window. Our only problem was that we didn’t stay for a week. We had a wonderful visit. There is so much to see and do in the Betws-y-coed. A top notch place to stay, highly recommend. There are a few stairs, however we packed a small overnight bag for our stay, as suggested by Sean. The red carpet makes the stairs worth it!

Service and food are superb. The interior is nice and cosy. Just the right sort of thing for a cold and wet day in Wales. The beer is fresh and well kept . My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic time . I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff . They really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Betws is a lovely little place, well worth a visit. I would’ve liked to give you a before and after picture of the delicious food, but it didn’t last that long. I was ravenous and it was delicious.

My husband and I have been to the Waterloo a fair few times over the past few years. We love it as a base for activities in Snowdonia. That's why I organised a surprise birthday weekend for my husband there and I cannot thank the hotel staff enough. Reception staff (Lowri in particular) handled months of emails back and forth helping me arrange rooms, dinner times, pre orders and payments in advance. And when the family was waiting in the foyer to surprise my husband the staff were all extremely accommodating. The dogs all got lots of attention, the service was brilliant even for nearly 20 of us for dinner AND breakfast together the next day, and the food was delicious and very filling! Everyone said how wonderful the staff were - and there are some hard to please people in that group! There were comments on the comfort of the beds and the facilities overall too. So in our opinion if you want a clean, comfortable hotel with great staff in a beautiful location then this is the place. And thank you again to all the staff.

Stayed 2 nights, BBEM. Room was comfortable and clean. We has a spa session of jacuzzi and sauna which was very good. The food was outstanding in quality and portion size, could not be faulted. Staff all friendly and very helpful. Location ideal and being out of season, it was great getting about without being overcrowded. Thoroughly recommended.

My wife and I had a two night camping stay at the Y Giler Arms at the end of August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a small camp site but it had everything we needed, the grounds, shower blocks and bathrooms were all clean and tidy plus we slept well as the all other campers were quiet and respectful. Best of all we ate and drank in the attached pub on both evenings, the food was good, well priced and we had a great time. The restaurant was extremely busy on the second night and I know some customers weren’t happy with their food delays but that wasn’t a problem for us and we found the staff to be hard working, friendly and professional, we’ll definitely be revisiting the Y Giler.
