Ate at the Swallowfalls Inn on the opening day, was the first to eat a main meal out of the kitchen, we ordered the steak with peppercorn sauce … and my word when I say wow … going to be a very busy pub if they keep cooking steak like that! We also had a sticky toffee pudding and croissant bread and butter pudding with custard … was about ready to pop after!! New decor was to die for and the whole place just let off an air of luxury, Staff were all really lovely and the new manager was very nice guy to have a chat with! All round very impressed with the this place if you are visiting the waterfall or Betws-Y-Coed it is well worth a visit!!! We were blown away!! Well done guys on your debut day!!!

A relaxing one night stay, before travelling onto Anglesey. Within touching distance of Swallow Falls, so a nice place to walk over to after breakfast. Room comfortable and clean, all staff welcoming and friendly. Evening meal was ok for the cost, breakfast was good. Plenty of onsite parking which was a real bonus, but if you want to go into the town, it is pay to park and just a little too far for us to walk to. Good location to explore the surrounding forest.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay here. Excellent value for money. Really peaceful and gorgeous surroundings. Wonderful room. Bed was so comfy. The staff were really attentive and welcoming especially Jo and Paul the manager who made our stay

I stayed 3 nights at The Swallow Falls whilst organising a Welsh 3000 Footers Challenge for a group of 16 who also stayed at the hotel. The refurbishment has been undertaken to a good standard and my superior bedroom was spacious and well equipped with comfy bed and excellent bathroom / shower. Throughout my stay the staff were very polite and attentive and I found the bar layout worked really well with good lounge space. I would also like to say a big thank you to the hotels chef who started at 5.30am on both walking days preparing bacon and sausage sandwiches - very much appreciated. Based on my experience I would be happy to stay again at Swallow Falls Inn - great location! Tony Holliday Activus Outdoors

Great mealPopped on while passing and called in on the off chance, so glad we did, food was good value and really good, we each had the SF inn burger and the lamb burger, and a side order of the biggest onion rings iv ever eaten! we managed to find room for a Bread and butter pudding and Rum and raisin ice cream, staff were lovely , we will definitely be returning

Just popped in for food and drink as we were driving past, the pub has recently been renovated and it’s been completed to a high standard, but we weren’t impressed with the food and sadly sent it back. The manager was very good and dealt with the situation.

I love the decor of this establishment. It is everything you’d expect of a modern pub. There is ample parking and seats inside. Staff were well dressed, friendly and welcoming. There was no loud music or telly on. Our dogs settled into a quiet corner while we enjoyed a nice pint after a long day of walking. The toilets are clean. We decided to stay for supper on a whim and were so glad we did because the food was incredible. We had pie of the week which was lamb and the special which was beef brisket wellington. Absolutely delicious. Meats were tender and tasty. Pastry was short and crispy, not a soggy bottom in sight. Very reasonable price for a fabulously cooked plate of food. Would have left a bigger tip if we paid at the end of the meal rather than order and pay at bar before the meal. It is also right opposite Swallow Falls so it is a handy stop before or after taking in the sights there.

I booked this as a surprise for my partners 65th birthday and it was absolutely amazing. We had an excellent time the room was spotless the service was excellent the staff are all very friendly and very helpful. The food was absolutely delicious the evening meal great value for what you get and the breakfast was all cooked fresh it was yummy. I would definitely go back again and would recommend it to anyone you will enjoy yourselves like we did. The location is perfect and your right by Swallow Falls Waterfall which is well worth having a look.

We booked this room at the last minute due to a prior disappointment at a previous hotel. We were delighted with our room, cost , food and staff. Room was clean, peaceful and beautifully decorated. Bed was comfortable and linen, fresh and clean. Menu, a good selection of food, beautifully cooked at both dinner and breakfast. Staff were polite and helpful, only downside was a bit of a wait at the bar for a drink but very helpful once served.
