«I I had an unforgettable hotel experience. When I arrived, I tried to push the door open, but it was locked. There was no doorbell. Just as I was fretting over what to do, three groups of guests who had booked the same hotel tried to enter, but none of them could get in. Then one of the guests noticed a digital keypad and typed in the code from her email, but none of them could get in. Each of our groups tried their codes, but none of them could get in. As we were still fretting, the door suddenly opened, and a guest came out, allowing us all to enter. That guest explained that the hotel had emailed us a ten-digit start code and a four-digit comfort code. You had to enter the start code first, then the comfort code, to open the door. The other guests had both the start code and the comfort code, but my email only contained the comfort code. The kind guest checked my email and confirmed that it contained only the comfort code. He then called the hotel, and they said our reservation had been cancelled because we hadn't paid the city tax. However, I clearly saw on the check-in voucher that the €29.90 check-in fee was payable upon arrival. The staff member on the phone later said they would email us the payment and, after payment, gave us a new start code and comfort code. After payment, we finally got a room. However, upon checking in, I discovered it wasn't the Standard Studio with Balcony we'd booked, but a Standard Studio. I didn't want to call them again to complain about the mistake; I just wanted a comfortable room. The hotel's location is convenient, about a 5-minute walk from S train station, and the room was generally acceptable.»

«非常好的酒店，值得特地寫一個長評
🩵服務：酒店是自助checkin，預訂後會發郵件過來填一些聯繫訊息，我給了之前在英國用的手機號所以可以無障礙在whatsapp聯繫。我們早上六點半落地柏林八點多到的酒店，酒店沒有前台但是樓下的同名咖啡店某種意義上也充當了前台的作用可以寄存行李。到之前工作人員會詢問到達時間然後給可以在酒店內通行的密碼（都是輸密碼的電子鎖）本來想這麼早先寄存行李了，但房間已經收拾好了工作人員激活了密碼，我們就提取入住了。工作人員真的特別好，表揚👍
💜環境：酒店在夏洛滕堡居民區這邊，我在柏林待了五天四晚東邊西邊都晃了一圈，最後結論是還是住這個區域最舒服。這邊靜謐，車流少遊客少，治安也挺好的（這點很重要）。交通和生活都很方便。附近有兩個大車站（有地鐵有輕軌有火車），都在步行十五分鐘的範圍內，直達市中心波茨坦廣場也就十幾分鍾，特別方便。附近有很多小餐館，越南菜館中餐館中國超市都有，也是步行十分鐘範圍內。兩條街外還有個類似這片區域中心的地方，有大商場大超市和很多葯粧店。
🩷房間設施：一室一廳的户型非常寬敞，大樹景落地窗很宜人。客廳有沙發落地燈餐桌電視櫃電視，還有b&o的藍牙音箱。小廚房和洗衣機都收納在壁櫃裏，配了全套的餐具廚具還有咖啡機。洗衣機是洗烘一體式的，但沒有配洗衣液，建議自帶點兒洗衣球，我們去附近超市買了。浴室很乾凈舒服，有淋浴有浴缸。房間的床我感覺是一米六的，在歐洲算蠻寬敞的了，兩個人睡一點不擠。
總之是非常非常好的居住體驗，每天在外面玩一天回來都有種回家的感覺，給這趟柏林之旅增添了很多美好，都有點不想去下一個城市了🥺下次來柏林還會首選Carlotta👍這錢花得太值了»

«Me gustó la ubicación porque la parada de autobús Franklinstraße está a unos 120 m del hotel y el autobús 245 llega a la estación principal de tren en unos 15 minutos. La última parada en la otra dirección es Bahnhof Zoo en unos 10 minutos.
El tamaño de las habitaciones es impresionante, ya que he experimentado habitaciones más pequeñas durante mis estancias en otros hoteles de Berlín. También hay suficiente espacio de almacenamiento en la habitación.
El buffet de desayuno por la mañana es muy amplio, con una selección de pan, panecillos, embutidos, quesos, ensaladas, muesli, etc.
Si vuelvo a Berlín unos días, intentaré alojarme de nuevo en este hotel.»

«At first we were worried about the location as it is away from the main city center, but once we ‘discovered’ the U2 train station is only 5 minutes away and the bus stops are nearby, we could go anywhere in Berlin. Very convenient. This hotel is very new and maintained well. The service is fantastic. We had a good 9 days stay.»

«I liked the hotel because it was really well maintained and the staff were professional and really helpful. The location is good, really close to a U-bahn station and has many options of shops and restaurants around. I liked the breakfast at the hotel and the rooms were clean and well tidy. Having a coffee machine and little snacks for sale at the reception was also a great choice as it makes it easy to get midnight snack or something to drink.
Only downside or issue I had was not being able to reserve a single big sized bed and had to manage two separate beds.
I’ll recommend this hotel to anyone looking to lodge anywhere around Spandau.»

Walk 7 minutes in one direction and you are at Checkpoint Charlie. Walk 10 mins in the other direction and you are at the Mall of Berlin. Walk 20 mins in another direction and you are in the Museum area of Berlin. Loads of restaurants, supermarkets and stores right next door to the apartment. Wonderful location. Can walk everywhere, plus the subway station is right outside.
Room
Large. Clean. It's a studio apartment, so in one room you will have your bed, sofa, coffee table, desk, wardrobe and TV. Then in another room you will have your kitchen and another room is your bathroom.
Bedroom
Bed is comfortable, but for some reason, despite having a 1 double bed, the duvets supplied were for 2 single beds, rather than one big bed.
Plug sockets near the beds are useful, but they are not VERY near, but close enough.
The room is large and clean.
The TV is small and because of the size of the room, it's almost hard to see. Yes it's on a wheeled table so you can bring it closer to the bed, but the power cord limits the range of movement. It is a Smart TV though so you can cast your android phone to it. Not iOS
There is a balcony area with tables and chairs which is nice.
The AC is wall mounted as if it was a TV. It did cool the room which is surprising as the room is big.
Bathroom
Super clean. Towels and such changed daily. It's a bathtub with a shower combined. And now I am going to be SUPER picky when I say this......do NOT let this impact your decision to stay here or not, but the water pressure is good but not great. But that may be because I like to feel like the water is really shooting at my skin. Also, the shower head holder kept sliding down. Annoying, ever so slightly, but not a deal breaker
Kitchen
So useful. It's a large kitchen with a fridge plus freezer. Induction hob with 2 rings. Sink, dishwasher. Plates, bowls, cups, tea saucers and cups, cutlery, cooking pots, frying pans, utensils for them, cutlery for eating, kitchen knives, tea towels, sieves... all great and all provided. There was one review that said it only offered 1 plate set.... we had several and it was very very useful.
Laundry
The apartment has a laundry room. 3 washing machines, 3 drying units, an ironing board and good steam iron. Even the powder is provided and having a laundry room was super useful. It's on -1 floor of the West side of the building.
Breakfast
The breakfast room, on the 8th floor does have an amazing view, and the room is lovely - everything is white with stone-coloured chairs, super clean... as if designed by Apple
It's a half-buffet style, cereal, pastry, cheese, and cured meats are all help yourself. Eggs, tea and coffee are on request. I didn't like this. The staff are wonderful and very polite and well trained, but, for me, I prefer less interaction and would have preferred a full buffet-style where I can help myself to whatever I wanted without having to ask.
Gym and Sauna
Also on the 8th floor. The gym has wonderful views, there is a seated bike, treadmill, rowing machine, weight bench and some dumbbells. Max weight was 10kg for the dumbbells so really its more of a cardio room.
Service.
We arrived around 11pm, but reception is not open. You have to scan a QR code, fill in all your details, upload a photo of your passport.... then wait after it successfully registers you you can open the doors. Or you can pop into the security office where the guy will hand you a key. Much easier, but you are not explicitly told.
But, the service is good here. Everyone is very polite, very helpful, all speak English. Cannot fault them at all. Just wish the reception was 24 hours
The location is great, the room is large and clean, the laundry room is useful and the gym and breakfast room have great views. It is expensive which is the only hesitant thing about returning here, but it is comparable in price to other similar hotels but here you get a much larger room with a kitchen. Great stay!

UUsuario invitadoLa ubicación está un poco alejada dependiendo de los lugares que desees ver. Sin embargo, la ciudad cuenta con iniciativas sorprendentes como bicicletas, scooters y ciclomotores que puedes alquilar a bajo precio para moverte por la ciudad. Es fácil crear una cuenta y comenzar a viajar en cualquiera de los dos, a menudo están cerca del hotel. Obviamente tienen excelentes conexiones de transporte como autobús, tranvía y tren también. Warschnauzer StraB es la estación de tren más cercana al hotel, que está a unos 15 minutos a pie, por lo que es muy conveniente, aunque los mapas de trenes nos parecieron un poco difíciles de entender, por lo que confiamos en Google Maps para decirnos qué trenes usar.
El servicio y la limpieza del hotel son geniales, no tuvimos ningún problema. En general, las toallas, la ropa de cama, el baño y el dormitorio estaban impecables. Nada de qué quejarse o comentar negativamente. No utilizamos el servicio de habitaciones, la opción adicional de desayuno continental ni el bar de la planta baja, por lo que no podemos comentar al respecto. Pero el personal es muy amable y servicial.
Las comodidades son fabulosas, el gimnasio tiene un gimnasio que es más grande que la mayoría de los gimnasios de los hoteles, muy práctico y con una gran variedad de máquinas. Como un gimnasio comercial con máquinas genéricas. Champú, acondicionador, jabones de manos y gel de ducha prácticos y gratuitos en envases grandes. Nuevamente, estos son los únicos servicios que utilizamos, por lo que no podemos comentar sobre otras cosas.
En general, un hotel encantador, muy peculiar y con mucho encanto. Sin duda lo recomendaría a otros ya que estamos muy contentos con nuestra estancia y estaríamos encantados de alojarnos en otros Nhows.

UUsuario invitado”Mein Aufenthalt im DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berlin war fantastisch. Von der ersten Minute an fühlte ich mich in diesem Hotel rundum wohl und willkommen. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war außerordentlich freundlich und der Check-in verlief reibungslos.
Mein Zimmer war sehr geräumig, modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es war makellos sauber und verfügte über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich wünschen kann - vom bequemen Bett über den Flachbild-TV bis hin zur Nespresso-Maschine. Der Blick aus dem Fenster auf die umliegende Umgebung war wunderbar.
Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls tiptop in Schuss und mit hochwertigen Pflegeprodukten ausgestattet. Ich habe fantastisch geschlafen und mich rundum wohl gefühlt.
Das Frühstücksbuffet im hauseigenen Restaurant ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Auswahl an leckeren und hochwertigen Speisen war riesig - vom Rührei über frische Brötchen bis hin zu Obst, Säften und Müsli. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam.
Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls hervorragend. Es befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Kurfürstendamm mit seinen zahlreichen Geschäften, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch die Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr ist erstklassig.
Insgesamt kann ich das DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berlin wärmstens empfehlen. Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und werde definitiv wiederkommen.”

UUsuario invitadoLa habitación es mayor de lo imaginado. La ubicación es buena y no lejos de la puerta se puede ir a la catedral de Berlín y a la Plaza de Alexander, la Plaza de Potsdam. UUsuario invitadoMe gustó todo del hotel. El hotel es excelente. Estuve en una habitación individual, en realidad es grande y tiene una cama de una plaza y media.
Es una pena que al hacer el check out el empleado volviera a cobrar la tasa turística, aunque estaba incluida en la reserva; No hubo tiempo para verificar al momento del check-out. Espero que el hotel reaccione ante esta situación y devuelva el dinero.

Service at reception
The full payment including city taxes have been paid via my credit card upon booking. The payments paid and breakdown including city taxes are stated very clearly on the booking voucher. However despite this, I was asked to pay a deposit of amount close to Euro 600 which was the full amount of my stay that was paid using my credit card. Upon asking, I asked the trainee/Lena why I have to pay so much again when I had paid the full amount via credit card.
Lena then checked with the another lady receptionist on the deposit that should be secured. However, this lady receptionist informed us to pay a deposit of euro 50 which I have no issue. However, she rudely informed me that I have to pay city tax. I told her that it has been paid and I showed her the booking voucher which clearly shows that city taxes have been paid. But she informed rudely that the amount was charged in other currency, not Euro. Seriously, when I heard this, I was shocked with the “intelligence” of this lady receptionist. She needs to be educated on what is “foreign currency equivalent” and to have some common sense. I disputed this and insisted that i had paid the full amount including city taxes, which was stated very clearly on the booking voucher. Lena agreed with me and reiterated to this lady receptionist that the booking voucher indeed stated that all payments including city taxes have been paid. Thereafter, the lady receptionist left rudely without any apologies.
The receptionists should be trained and their service should be improved. Firstly, they should have checked that I have fully paid and should not secure a a deposit of almost euro 600. Only when I asked, they rechecked, but no apologies. Secondly, even after they rechecked, they did not check clearly that city taxes have been paid and insisted me to pay city taxes. No apologies either when they found out. The service from the lady receptionist (shorter girl with curly hair) was so rude and no apologies even though she was wrong in the first place.
I highlighted this issue and feedback to the shiftleader, Andreas Levi and made known to him about the receptionists. He immediately went to check and confirmed that all payments including city taxes have been paid earlier via credit card. Thanks Andreas Levi for checking and making our stay better.

Not sure why some beds have comforters/topper while some beds without. The beds with comforters are so comfy! Our bed without comforters.
Breakfast
For Europe’s standard, I think the breakfast in this hotel is considered good. With few hot food such as overcooked bacon, overcooked sausage, baked bean, and eggs. The omelette is nice (thanks to the chef!) Some selections of bread, lots of choices of good quality teas. Few selections of juices. Coffee machine. Fresh honey comb.
Complementary water
It is odd that complimentary water is only provided to the guests for the first night despite I stay 3 nights. This is the first time I experience this in Europe. Perhaps guest should make different booking for each night.
Proximity to trains and attractions
Close proximity to train stations and some main attractions.
Summary
Overall service was good (except for 1 rude lady receptionist). I will still recommend this hotel. Take the breakfast.

UUsuario invitadoLa casa es bastante grande, pero sin duda es antigua. Lo bueno es que la limpian a diario. La alfombra es vieja y no necesita limpieza. Hay muchos sitios para comer cerca, incluyendo una calle de kebabs turcos y un supermercado Lidl donde se puede comprar pan recién hecho y una variedad de frutas y verduras. No desayunamos en el hotel, sino que compramos en el supermercado, que también nos dejó muy satisfechos.

UUsuario invitadoUn albergue con un diseño que pretende ser de estilo neo-estilo, algo que, en principio, queda claro por su nombre. No hay baños privados en las habitaciones, todas están en el mismo piso con varios baños/duchas por piso. También hay varias cocinas. Los baños, al menos el de hombres, son un desastre, siempre falta papel higiénico y se dejan botellas de cerveza tiradas. Un polaco entró al baño delante de mí, se dio cuenta de que no había papel higiénico, maldijo ”kurwa”, cerró la puerta de golpe y se fue. Fue divertido. Aunque esto no es una pregunta para el personal, que sinceramente intenta supervisar y limpiar todo, sino para los huéspedes. El diseño de las habitaciones recuerda a un campo de pioneros soviético, paredes desnudas, camas y televisor, una ventana, aunque con cortinas opacas. Las habitaciones están más o menos limpias, pero se proporciona limpieza por un suplemento. Por lo general todo lo que allí se ofrece requiere un pago adicional o un depósito. Si quieres una toalla, deja 20 euros; Si quieres cocinar, aquí tienes un juego de ollas, detergentes y un sacacorchos; Déjame 50 euros. Es la primera vez que veo cocinas que no tienen tazas, tenedores o sartenes. Esto para mí es una tontería. Pero hay una máquina expendedora de dulces y café de pago por 2 euros. No hay dispensadores de agua ni teteras para hervir agua; como truco puedes llenar el inodoro con agua, calentarla en el microondas en un vaso de papel de una máquina de café y preparar allí té con una bolsita traída extraoficialmente del desayuno. El personal no es muy amable entre sí, la chica, cuando tomó un depósito de 20 euros y dio una toalla, prometió cambiarla todos los días, la recepcionista se negó, pidiendo 5 euros por un cambio de toalla. Pero intentan ser educados mientras lo hacen. La recepción no está abierta las 24 horas, hasta las 21.00 horas, pero es posible entrar después de esa hora. El acceso al territorio del albergue y a las habitaciones se realiza mediante tarjeta llave. La comida en la cantina también se vende con fichas, por cierto, es la primera vez que veo esto ;) El desayuno es muy modesto, muy básico y siempre lo mismo, 2 tipos de yogur, ensalada de frutas, huevos cocidos, varios tipos de jamón/salchichas en lonchas y 2 tipos simples de queso, bollos básicos baratos, pepinos/tomates, café de caldera. La ubicación está apartada, pero hay una parada de tranvía cerca. Se tarda bastante en llegar al centro, más de una hora en transporte público. Aunque el barrio de Köpenick es en general muy histórico, siempre ha sido una zona de clase trabajadora. Ahora hay allí muchos ucranianos y polacos. Desde el punto de vista natural, el lugar es hermoso, la confluencia de dos ríos y vegetación por todos lados. Hay un salón cerca del albergue, por lo que los residentes no tienen reparos en pasar el rato, beber cerveza, fumar ********* y escuchar música a todo volumen justo debajo de las ventanas. En general, como en aquel chiste: ”-¿Qué son los sentimientos encontrados? -¡Es cuando tu suegra se ahoga en tu coche!”
