This hotel is very disappointing and honestly quite confusing. It's listed as a 4-star property in 'Trips', which is quite tricky, as google maps clearly says it's a 3-star hotel — and even that feels generous based on the service.
The reception is located right in the canteen area, which makes the whole check-in experience feel chaotic and noisy. Only one staff member was handling everything, even though three computers in reception and a queue waiting for check in. When I got to my room, I noticed tissues have been used up. I tried to call the front desk, but to my surprise, there was no phone in the room at all!I had to go back downstairs, and the staff was busy fixing his computer. There had been another couple waiting in front of me, later we continued to wait more than 10 minutes without any explanation...until I asked him if he is busy now.
What left a particularly bad taste was that while I was waiting, I overheard the staff offering a welcome drink to a newly arrived guest — even though I had checked in just 15 minutes earlier(10min is used for waiting computer fixation) and wasn’t offered anything. When I asked, he said he forgot because he was too busy. That may be understandable, but it certainly didn’t feel comfortable.
Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re expecting even basic 3-star service.
