What can we say? It was wonderful. The village is like a fairytale, as is the view to the sea. Gabriella and Gianfranco have created something very special. Our house was carefully renovated and very comfortable. We could’ve sat on the terrace forever. We also had dinner at their restaurant and this was also fantastic. We will dream of returning one day soon.

Simply beautiful, both the homes and atmosphere. From the bottom of the mountain looking up to Belmonte Calabro you can begin to anticipate the beauty awaiting you, and it doesn’t disappoint. We were welcomed by our gracious host, Gabriella, and given a tour with helpful background information on local sights and things to do. The home we chose was tastefully appointed and with the provided amenities more than met our needs. This little “community” of homes run by the hosts shows the care they put into making sure you have a great stay. Belmonte Calabro is the town of alleys and exploring the little side alleys is a great way to get the feel of this community. The people we came across were friendly and always willing to stop and talk, even with our limited Italian. This is also a great base for exploring Calabria by car. There are a lot of great day trips you can manage from here and Gabriella has a wealth of knowledge on what to do and see. The mountain towns are a great break from the crowds or explore the coast all the way to Sicily. Or just stay local and enjoy the town piazza and dinner at the restaurant, Anna’s cooking is incredible. Added bonus, on clear nights and when the volcano is cooperating, you can see lava plumes from Stromboli in the distance. My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary here and now wonder why it took us so long to come to this place. We will be back.

Could not recommend this place more!! We stayed back in the summer and had the most perfect short stay. The home cooked meals are delicious and authentic. We joined the pasta making course which was such fun with other guests. The hosts are incredible and make you feel so welcome! I couldn't speak any higher of our entire experience! If you get the chance to visit Calabria, make sure you include EcoBelmonte on your itinerary- a must visit in the most stunning region of Italy.

Esperienza indimenticabile. Fin dai primi 5 minuti quando siamo arrivati nella piazzetta con una lieve musica di sottofondo dove ci ha accolto Gabriella con un caloroso "banvenuti". Abbiamo passato due giorni nella casetta U Canalu, arredata con cura meticolosa dei particolari con un piccolo balconcino che inquadra il mare tra i rilievi delle montagne. Abbiamo poi visto che tutte le case sono sistemate con lo stesso tocco rispettoso delle tradizioni e pieno di colori Abbiamo apprezzato anche la cucina dell'ottima cuoca Anna che viene servita in una terrazza circondata da piante di cappero e fiori. Abbiamo provato una cena di pesce e una di carne. Entrambi squisiti: pasta alle alici, calamari grigliati, pasta con zucca e salsiccia, stracotto di carne al mosto e antipasti scelti con cura. Consiglieremo a tutti questa struttura assolutamente unica.

Un incanto. Un tuffo nel passato. Ideale per rilassarsi . I proprietari molto cordiali ed estramemamente disponibili. Le serate con solo il canto dei grilli ed cielo stellato . Indimenticabile. il'ppartamento ampio e suggestivo. Il mare a due passi.
