La Terre d'Or

This is a great place! We had a private cottage with great shared space for games, cocktails, and meals with spacious individual bedrooms with private showers and toilets. Super comfortable beds. We were happy to use the private hot tub at night. We also used La Terre d’Or to organize our wine tasting and highly recommend this. They scheduled a great variety of climats and wineries of different sizes. Had opportunities to meet and chat with winemakers in addition to tasting rooms. You learn a lot while enjoying wonderful tastings. Sylvie and Vincent are great hosts and will make sure you have a great time. I would have like to have spent one more day to lounge by the pool and grill some fish on the BBQ. It is a truly relaxing place

We had the perfect stay! Vincent and Sylvie were extremely helpful and gracious hosts. The B&B is beautiful and well equipped. We did a wine tour with Sylvie through Cote Chalonnaise that was a unique and unforgettable experience. The tour allowed us to visit smaller producers that were very welcoming. Vincent and Sylvie also helped us with winery reservations in Cote du Beaune and Cote du Nuits as well as great dinner suggestions. Highly recommend staying here for your visit to Burgundy!

We stayed in the gîte "Les Pins" at La Terre d'Or for a week as part of our family holiday. It was fabulous from start to finish. The gîte was everything we could have asked for, and Vincent and Sylvie were ideal hosts. It was such a pleasure to come back to the gîte at the end of a day out somewhere, driving up the hillside through the vineyards in the late afternoon summer sun, to be greeted by the glorious view of Beaune from the front of the gîte. Just time for a quick dip in the spa/jacuzzi before having a barbecue in the garden with a glass (or two) of wine; then to bed, looking forward to the fresh pâtisseries that would be waiting for us in the morning. It was wonderfully relaxing and our children thought it was simply amazing. There is plenty to do in Beaune and further afield. Vincent and Sylvie were a great source of recommendations for places to go, and we particularly enjoyed our cycle tour of some of the local vineyards which they kindly arranged for us. We would love to come back.

La Terre d'Or is the perfect place to stay in Beaune. It was a great contrast coming from Paris to be amongst nature with a beautiful view down to Beaune with only vineyards in between. Vincent was a great host and was a wealth of information about the region and it's amazing wine. Make sure to go on one of his wine tours!

From the welcoming Kir/cheese , to the estate vineyard tour, to the well selected winery visits, outstanding hosts(Vincent,Sylvie), great accommodations and expertly selected lunches , the visit was superb! As the third leg of a French trip it is the ideal place to feel the sensations of Burgundy! Can’t wait to return

We stayed at La Terre d' Or for 3 nights in June with our dear friends during a wine trip from Champagne to Provence regions. This stay was perfection. Our desire was to stay in lodging in Beaune in an actual vineyard. Each morning we were able to walk through the vineyards across from our cottage. Vines were basically 360 degrees all the way around La Terre d' Or. The views were breathtaking; not only the vines, but the view down the hill into Beaune from our cottage. We stayed in Les Pins cottage - a stand alone building which we had all to ourself. The owner, Vincent was absolutely fabulous! He is so familiar with the Burgundy area and treated us like family. Our cottage was perfect; perfect space and perfect view. There is a cave below the home that has a hot tube in it and numerous bottles of wine that you can select and drink, and just letting Vincent know which bottle so he can charge properly. The cave has small stalactites forming which will grow one inch in 50,000 years - reminded us of Luray Caverns in VA many thousands of years ago. Vincent had breakfast waiting for us each morning and we did a day tour of Cote de Beaune wine region that was absolute perfection. Vincent made restaurant reservations for us 2 months in advance of our visit to ensure we went to the best restaurants in Beaune - each was perfect. Enjoyed charcuterie and wine on our last evening at La Terre d' Or with Vincent and Sylvie. They told us we were not that far from Italy so we will make this a stop next time we are in Burgundy or traveling to Italy. Thank you so much Vincent! We all had a wonderful stay at your home!
