Hotel Select

Cannot fault this hotel! We stayed here for 7 nights in February to attend the Fete du Citron and the Nice Festival. Great location, close to the train station, making it so easy to travel all along the coast by train from Meton to Nice and everywhere in between. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was very comfortable, lots of hanging space, fridge, coffee making facilities, good size bathroom, and very clean. Breakfast was tasty and replenished often. The staff do ask you not to use the elevator if possible, only for luggage but it wasn't a problem for us. Would def recommend this hotel.

Just spent a week at the Hotel Select, in a pleasant corner room facing the Place below with its daily market. The room & bath were always very clean; the bed was comfortable; the management was gracious & accommodating; the breakfast room is cheerful & the breakfasts plentiful. At least during my stay, the room rate didn't include either the breakfast or the local tax on the breakfast. That said at Eur. 11 it offered a plentiful & tasty breakfast. The management asks that guests use the tiny elevator only when moving luggage, so one can get good exercise going up & down the narrow staircase depending on which floor your room is on. The on-site manager(s) speak English as well as French & I presume other languages as well. While I was there, I heard Italian & Spanish spoken among guests.I didn't have a car so have no observation about parking. My room was quiet & peaceful with a view of the cliffs behind the town over rooftops. There are two excellent cafes right across the street, & a don't-miss chocolatier/patisserie just down the street. Also an excellent pharmacy across the street.

This hotel was so incredibly amazing. The setting- adorable. The staff- great! Cleanliness- outstanding. The neighborhood- makes you feel like a local. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and I didn’t want to leave. Simple amenities but everything you need. Breakfast was good and well stocked. We will be back 100% !!

Were all of those amazing reviews accurate? Yes! Absolutely! Charming hotel in a stellar location. Huge thanks to Isabelle and Joelle - we loved it and will return next year hopefully! We particularly enjoyed the superb continental breakfast, the cleanliness, the inclusion of a safe and fridge in the room, the terrific transport connections, the kind and helpful staff and Jodie the pup!

Given its price in this expensive part of the world, I wasn't sure what to expect. But two stars doesn't do this hotel justice. An elegant building on the edge of a square, it's clean and stylish - perfect for a Côte d'Azur break. Our room was a decent size, but had wonderful long windows that you could throw open to see and hear the sights and sounds of the morning market, (the sound-proofing is very good when the window is closed.) It's close to the train station for quick trips to Monaco (10 minutes) or Antibes. Beaulieu is a gorgeous town - our favourite on this strip of beautiful coastline. Highly recommended. (Apparently if you book directly they throw in a free breakfast.)
