B&B Eth Béryè Petit

We cannot recommend Eth Berye Petit enough! We enjoyed our stay so much and we could happily have stayed for several more days. Ione and Henri are lovely hosts, who have made this old form house, which earlier belonged to Henri´s ancestries, into a very comfortable chambre d'hote. Henri's family has been living in Beaucens for over 1000 years. The house is beautifully located in a valley and close to places like Gavarnie, Pont d´Espagne, Hautacam, Tourmalet and Val d´Azun. The rooms are spotless clean and cozy decorated. And with such gorgeous wiews from the outside balcony into the valley. The french breakfast, which was served on the downstairs veranda, is very delicious with home made rolls, croissants, orange juice, coffee, a sortiment of jams, and a selection of local cheese and every morning a new home made cake. But the true highlight of this little gem are the hosts, they are so friendly and attentive, with all sorts of helpful advice on hikes and other things to do in the nearby Pyrenees. They were being so helpful every morning with new suggestions for hiking, which were our purpose for the vacation. They assessed very accurately our requirements in terms of difficulty, so that we were stretched and came back home with a sense of achievement. And they even lend out their maps to us. I never write hotel or restaurant reviews, but the three nights my wife and I have just spent here have inspired me to make an exception. Eth Berye Petit is the ideal getaway for people who seek idyllic surroundings, tasteful furnishings, and immense attention to cleanliness and detail. After a restful night's sleep, a classic French breakfast is laid out on a single large table on the verandah overlooking the gorgeous lush valley. The host and hostess are native to the area and gladly share their immensely knowIedge of it without imposing themselves on their guests. This is not a place for hyperactive young families, but is perfect for a couple who have just entertained three grandchildren for a week! Our stay there far exceeded our wildest hopes, and we hope to find the opportunity to return again soon. We cannot recommend the place more highly.

Chambre spatieuse, bien équipée avec soin et une literie que l'on ne trouve que dans l'hotellerie haut de gamme complétée par une qualité d'accueil et de service de même niveau. Avec une vue supperbe sur les montagnes, au calme et stratégiquement situé pour les excursions, les randonnées et les sortie vélo, la demeure ancienne a beaucoup de caractere. Pour les amateurs le golf de Lourdes n'est pas loin.
