We had a fabulous time! We came for a week early August (only just got round to doing this). On arrival the check in time was ok but did take some time and we were tired after a lot of travelling from Newcastle (around midnight). Didn't help someone pushed in front of us . After check in we got one of the golf buggies to our room with all our bags. Great touch. Our room was 215 in the superior bungalows and it had a garden view, there was a row of trees then the pool was on the other side. It was literally a minute to the pool. Room itself is large, has REAL beds and no sofa beds which I hate. Bathroom small but clean and has everything you need. After a great sleep (air con is spot on and most days it was 48 degrees) we checked out the pool/restaurant etc. This is a large complex, it is beautifully clean and well maintained. Sunbed situation. Ah yes the bed wars happen here same as anywhere. We are early risers and never had an issue getting a bed. If you rock up at 10am you don't stand a chance to get a few together ♀️. You get cards for your pool towels which you can change daily. Brilliant no taking beach towels away! Breakfast has loads of choice but wasnt to our liking, however the lunch and evening meals were lovely. Check out the grill as it does the best freshly cooked meats and waffles. There is self service on bottled water, coffee and juices. Pool bar service great and cocktails are lovely. Shout out to the bar staff! Entertainment from around 10.30am. Bailey bless her is so lovely! They do pool games, aqua aerobics, water polo etc. At night a kids disco at 9 with show at 9.30pm. The shows are good fun but the amphitheatre gets very hot even though its outdoors. I don't know how the team dance in it tbh so hats off to them. Slides are great fun. Quiet pool located further back from main pool and has its own bar that serves ice cream 1-4pm. Bar and cleaning staff are spot on. Beds made every day, clean towels etc. A lot of french and belgium guests but UK too. I think people group together with their fellow nationals. We met some brilliant people from Belgium ! Basically if you are thinking about going here then go! We had such a fantastic time and are booked to come back again next year but for 10 days next time. Suggestions if you go: Evening meal, go for 7pm as it gets very busy. Sit inside as although outside is lovely the heat will get to you (in August definitely). Use the snack bar at lunch. In addition they do fresh doughnuts 4-5pm and cake 5-6pm. Can wear swimwear and is less hassle than the main restaurant but they are right next to each other. Book a superior room, they are much nicer and are bungalows, semi detached. Get an extra key for 10 euro deposit and leave it in the slot so air and fridge on while your out the room. Coming back to a cold room was a dream as we were in and out a lot and was a welcome relief. Get up early for the beds! You won't regret it. Its still quiet until around 9am so no
