Lovely pension house in an outstanding location. All staff are very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are a little dated but that’s the beauty of staying in a guesthouse like this. Restaurant was very good as well. Lots of parking. My 2nd visit and will be back.

Great location. Great views, delicious bier. The staff was kind, the food tasty and the room spacious and comfortable. I would visit again. The parking was close to the hotel. Breakfast was a typical German meal, but bread, cold cuts and cheeses were brought to the table. Covid mitigation was followed.

Ein herzlicher Empfang in einer idyllischen Umgebung, direkt an der Spree. Frühstück super, auch das Spreeblick Restaurant abends echt toll. Da gab es das leckere Honig-Senf Bier aus der eigenen Brauerei. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal nach Bautzen und dann auch wieder zur Spree-Pension.

Unterkunft, Personal und Gaststätte waren sehr in Ordnung. Frühstück war ausreichend , sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden.

Die Lage der Pension ist direkt an der Spree und in unmittelbarer Nähe der Altstadt. Das Frühstück ist reichlich. Der Obstsalat ist frisch, das Rührei ein Genuss. Zum Abendessen gab es mehrere zu empfehlende Gerichte z.B. die warme geräucherte Forelle, den heißen Stein. Alles war schmackhafte Hausmannskost.

Waren fünf Paare mit dem Ziel den Weihnachtsmarkt Bautzen zu besuchen. Alle waren wir sehr zufrieden mit den Zimmern, dem umfangreichen Frühstück und das Angebot des Restaurant. Das kleine Hotel ist zwar schon älter(Altstadt) aber alle Zimmer waren sauber und für unsere Verhältnisse voll ausreichend. Zu empfehlen ist Tische zwecks Abendessen schon mit den Zimmer zu reservieren. Personal ist freundlich, was hauptsächlich die Inhaber selbst sind. Von der Lage genau neben der Spree sehr ruhig kann man die Altstadt mit kurzen Weg erreichen. Den Biergarten kann ich mir im Sommer als sehr empfehlenswert vorstellen. Immer wieder.......

Als "Stammgäste" wieder einmal eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Spreepension erlebt. Schon bei Anreise ein sehr herzlicher Empfang. Zimmer wie gewohnt gemütlich und sauber. Alle im Team sind den Gästen gegenüber sehr aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten das Glück, das bei unserem Aufenthalt, im perfekt gelegenen Biergarten (er liegt direkt an der Spree) der Pension, das alljährliche Brauereifest stattfand. Diese Brauerei gehört zur Familie Frenzel. Das Fest war der Knaller...Wir haben teilweise miterleben können, mit wieviel Arrangement die Familie und ihre Crew dieses Fest vorbereit hat. Jeder stellte das Wohl des Gastes an erste Stelle. Uns das spiegelte sich in der Stimmung des sehr gelungenen Abends wieder. Für diesen Abend an ALLE ein besonderes Dankeschön !!!!!!!! Die sehr freundliche, herzliche und familiäre Atmosphäre bei Familie Frenzel lässt uns immer wieder kommen. ......und wir haben es noch nie bereut. Auch Freunde haben wir schon damit "infiziert" 😊 In diesen Tagen haben Herr und Frau Frenzel das Ruder an den Sohn und seine Frau übergeben. Wir sagen toi, toi, toi und wünschen den jungen Chefs alles Gute bei der neuen Herausforderung. Wir hoffen und wünschen, daß sie das Haus in gewohnter, liebenswerter Weise weiterführen, damit wir weiterhin gern Gäste bei Ihnen sein dürfen. Dagmar und Günter

Ich kenne die Spreepension von früher und es ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis, wenn man dort absteigt. Die Lage direkt an der Spree mit Anbindung an die Altstadt ist ideal für jeden Besucher von Bautzen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet und das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Der Knaller ist aber das Restaurant mit selbstgebrautem Bier und original sächsischen Speisen. Ich komme jederzeit wieder vorbei.
