We recently stayed at 110 Hampden Apartments and overall had a mixed experience. The location was reasonably convenient, the price was competitive, and the views were absolutely spectacular, which was a definite highlight of the stay. However, there were quite a few downsides. The room layout felt awkward, the bed was only a double and quite soft, and the apartment really needed a good deep clean — particularly the carpets, which appeared to hold a lot of dirt and had noticeable stains. Some maintenance was also needed, especially in the bathroom where the sink required attention. While complimentary items like toilet paper and dishwasher tablets were provided initially, they ran out toward the end of our stay, meaning we had to purchase additional supplies ourselves. The strict 10am checkout was another inconvenience, especially since they don't offer luggage storage. Their recommended venue for storage has limited facilities, particularly when cruise ships are in town. Also worth noting: there is no elevator, so you’ll need to be reasonably fit to manage the stairs. Overall, you do get what you pay for. While I wouldn’t totally discourage staying here, I would more than likely look at alternative options next time.
