This is a beautiful Victorian building on the outskirts of Bath. It has been modernised with very careful thought to the original, beautiful architecture, making it a lovely but comfortable place to stay. I love that the bathroom was 'old style' but still had all the modern necessities. On entering, we were greeted by a lovely receptionist, who was delighted to share details of the area and best way to walk into the town. This we did - twice the same day. It is a bit of an uphill march to get back to the hotel, but we did it in about 20 minutes. We had gone to Bath to enjoy the town, see a play at The Royal Theatre and enjoy food and a drink. Being close enough to the town to walk, meant we did not need the car from arrival to departure, so left it in the Car Park at the hotel. The room was comfortable and the breakfast lovely, and they catered for our requirements for gluten free without problem. Overall, if I went back to Bath, I would certainly stay here again.

El entorno es bueno y la habitación es grande. Pero sabemos que somos cuatro personas, y que hay tres camas un poco intimidad. Luego el servicio no es bueno decirlo, y comer una cena oigo todo tipo de sonidos del criado para matar a una persona. Los platos se han quitado dos veces en el suelo. Si no fuera por los invitados locales, supongo que creo que me gustaría tener cuidado de darnos un color de ropa a nuestra familia. El entorno es tan bueno, el servicio no puede llegar rápidamente al hotel es una lástima.

Had high expectations of my stay and it was completely fulfilled and I was impressed. Overall welcome and ambience was just right being professional and sincere. Our bed room, junior suite after upgrading with extra fee, was reasonably sized although the bathroom with the layout of the door made it difficult and slightly dangerous to enter / close behind guest. The spa village was busy but understandable; it felt clean and very updated overall so there was less of a concern on hygiene which is understood can be difficult to maintain standards. The breakfast room, choices and service was fine as expected so it’s worth signing up for. Although by day 2, it was hard fo imagine having another breakfast so possibly having breakfast for one day as an option would be good. Would have liked to have body lotion in bathroom as I had to rely on the one available in the spa village… and with 2 nights stay, toiletries were not replenished … Always a nice welcome when soft drinks / mini bar is complimentary ; although it doesn’t cost a lot to fill a fridge but small gestures like these make guests feel more welcomed Thanks for a great stay; would like to take my 80 year old mum here sometime in future as she would enjoy it tremendously !!

Location of the hotel is superb, with walking distance of 10 minutes to the city centre near Romans bath. General atmosphere of the hotel is good. Room is comfy and nicely decorated. However, when we first got into the room, I noticed there was a used bath towel (probably left by the previous guest) left hanging inside the bathroom which is not so good…..😊 Otherwise it is good and I highly recommend it to everyone seeking a decent good hotel near city centre.

We enjoy our stay in Apex very much. We received a warm welcome from Tony at the front desk. He was being very friendly the whole time and even recommended us places to visit in Bath. The room was exactly how we expected. The swimming pool and spa facilities were spectacular. Tony suggested us to reserve the time slot that was least busy so that we could enjoy the best of them.

Solo puedo recomendar The Kennard Hotel. Tanto la atención como la calidad del servicio son espectaculares. Su objetivo era un lujo de fin de semana corto antes de que comience mi trabajo, ya que mi compañero no puede tomar un largo permiso. La habitación doble deluxe es una gran decepción.Understablemente es una ubicación muy premium y otros huéspedes probablemente pagan mucho más. Sin embargo, no me gustaría pagar más de 300 libras para conseguir una habitación que se siente como una habitación de un antiguo servidor. El piso está situado en el cuarto de extensión del techo con vistas principalmente bloqueadas, y hace el ruido típico de la vieja madera de craqueo mientras caminamos. El vidrio en la parte superior de la mesa y el escritorio no está bien equipado. Otra cosa es que, sin ningún aviso previo, el spa cerró el mantenimiento de los enemigos de la mañana que dejamos. La anfitriona es muy acogedora, la habitación limpia, cálida, con zapatos, el desayuno es bueno, un desayuno típico inglés, la anfitriona es muy paciente al dejarnos elegir. El ambiente general es bueno. Es posible aparcar. Se tarda unos 20 minutos en llegar andando a los baños.
