I’ve been a bit slow on getting around to writing this review but I was not going to miss giving this place a shout out! The setting and the room were absolutely beautiful but the biggest credit goes to the staff. So welcoming and friendly. From the young lady who served our drinks on arrival (didn’t get a name but she finished at 5pm Monday 16th sept), Abi, who checked us in and showed us to our room and also, along with the lovely Reuben, made sure we had everything we needed and couldn’t do enough for us and last but certainly not least, Sophia who was so friendly when we returned from a night out in time for our last drink at the bar. The staff are an absolute credit to this place! Well done and thank you all ☺️

Excellent facilities , Excellent food , area and location absolutely gorgeous I can’t stand people who Nik pick things , this place is amazing ? What makes it even better ? The staff Sophia, Chelsea , Lilly , Ollie ,Cher and all other staff really go out there way to help you, they do everything they can from letting me use there phone , charging my battery. Giving me ice etc etc little things that make the difference They are always smiling and polite this is why it is my local Great team guys keep it up

Lovely place to stay in a lovely setting really close to park and ride for easy access to the centre. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated with large bathrooms, great showers and extremely comfortable beds. Food was delicious in the evening and at breakfast, good value and good quantity ingredients. Special little touches made this an excellent stay such as personal delivery to your room and complimentary drinks vouchers to use at the bar. Would recommend

Ideal if you want to visit Bath, but don't want a bustling central location. Comfortable rooms & beds. Good shower. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. So pleasant to be by the river watching the boating world go by & lots of wildlife. Park & ride next door for easy access to Bath centre.

We stayed here as 2 couples over a weekend to visit the Bath Xmas market. The park and ride bus is only s few minutes walk from the hotel and a great way of getting into town. Can’t really fault the hotel, lovely rooms with a lot of personal touches, comfortable bed and pillows. We ate in the bar once and food and service were great. The hot breakfasts each morning were lovely and freshly cooked. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. Special mention to Erin and Reuben who looked after us well.

We stayed here from Tuesday 5th November until Thursday 7th November. We really enjoyed our stay at The Boathouse, the meals were excellent but it is the staff here that really make your stay. The young lady waitress on Wednesday evening was really good, although we didn’t get her name. It was Sophia who deserves a special mention, from reserving our room, to booking us in and then waiting on us Tuesday evening, she is very professional and excellent at her job and makes her guest very welcome. We wouldn’t hesitate To go back again.

This was our second visit to The Boathouse and we were so disapointed, we were in the same room as our last visit and to be honest it was a bit shabby, no matteress cover, no pillow protectors, blinds looked a bit grubby, the bathroom was not particularly clean and the toilet brush needed condeming. The room was above where deliveries were made so early morning noise was a problem, this was such a shame as this hotel is in an idyllic spot, with the Park and ride BUS right behind so no need to use the car. Staff were very friendly, we had one evening meal which was expensive for basic Burger and chips, bonus was the Complementary drinks. I feel housekeeping needs to improve, and maybe a more varied and reasonable menu. Sorry Boathouse Sadly we won't be returning.

Avoid at all costs - looks like a nice spot but avoid!! Terrible food. Dated and poor value for money. Tables were lined up like a stadium to pack in 100' s but they could not keep up with orders so services was diabolical. Drinks & food were expensive. I did not not like the salad. There was no effort or attention to detail. No table service will not be recommending it to anyone.

This is a wonderful location and the property is in an idyllic setting. The manager is attentive and addresses issues in a professional manner. However, the room we had was a little tired, the curtain was not fully linked to the pole (basic attention to detail) and the terrace/ balcony was in need of a good scrub, also the windows were filthy, hadn’t been cleaned for some time. Bathroom was adequate but not exceptional.
