I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic! The host was so helpful and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!) Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too. Thank you very much!

La habitación del edificio principal es hermosa. El paisaje raro. El restaurante no está bien, el desayuno es demasiado largo y, si no está bien, comienza una hora. Martin de la concierge es muy bueno, nos ayuda a encontrar un restaurante porque la mayoría de los fines de semana descansan. Y tememos que no conozcamos la carretera de montaña de Bus, y nos llevamos a pasar. El sabor de los dos restaurantes que recomienda es muy confiable.

En primer lugar, los hoteles son muy difíciles de encontrar. La propia navegación de Apple es incorrecta. En segundo lugar, el baño de la tienda es extremadamente pequeño y todavía hay ruido de agua en la alcantarilla por la noche. Existe un problema de que no se puede suministrar agua caliente en la sala n. ° 3, que se notificó demasiado tarde y no se puede resolver por sí solo. Finalmente, el estacionamiento es pequeño. Aunque los estacionamientos en Bath son muy pequeños, este es el único hotel en el Reino Unido que me ha cobrado 15 libras por noche. En serio, no se recomienda.

The hotel was amazing. From the clean rooms to yummy breakfast ( huge choice) to helpful and friendly staff and lastly the lovely and friendly staff at the bar and restaurant area. Highly recommend.

The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere — it was the perfect place to relax after a long day. The location was also very convenient, close to local shops and attractions, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, this guesthouse offers comfort, warmth, and great hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

The hotel is an incredible building which must take some maintenance. We booked a double room for one night and arrived at lunchtime with the intention of sightseeing in bath for a couple of days. The hotel was happy for us to park all day both days which was great. The check in process (after 3pm) was very easy and we had a very clean room with plenty of towels, 2 robes and slippers for the spa/pool. The double room had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The hotel pool was crowded and looking a little tired but was as expected. The outside heated pool was very nice and relaxing. We didn’t have any spa treatments or use the gym but both looked well kept and the gym had good modern equipment. We didn’t eat in the restaurant preferring to find a restaurant in bath itself. Breakfast was a bit of a chaotic affair with several hotel staff doing various jobs with no apparent coordination. The wait for a table, then coffee was long and then we had to wait again to order breakfast. The whole process of breakfast took well over an hour which is poor. It was clear that there was no clear process as some tables were getting their cooked breakfast before us even though we were taken to our table 30 mins before them. The little waiter man with his paper pad was a bit useless. When the ‘full English’ breakfast came it was a small plate of well cooked food but not really as described in the menu. In terms of portion size it was more like a kids breakfast. We weren’t served any toast either and had to ask for it unlike other tables who received it with their drinks order which seemed a bit weird. The continental buffet was a bit scarce with no bowls or spoons so we had to use our fruit juice glasses for the yogurt and fruit. The whole thing could be improved with a breakfast buffet under a hot plate if they haven’t got enough staff to serve it.

The location is not very convenient and not sure why but the buses that stop in front of the hostel do not show on either google map or apple map so I only found out there there were direct buses after arriving the hostel. However, instead of taking buses, I highly recommend walking to the city centre as you will walk through an amazing field of grassland. The room is very spacious, cozy, and quiet. Highly recommended!

Despertarse con el sonido del agua y contemplar el paisaje fue una experiencia de lo más apacible. El servicio fue excelente: el personal fue atento, amable y se desvivió por hacernos sentir cómodos. La combinación de un entorno precioso y una hospitalidad cálida hizo de esta una de las estancias más memorables que he tenido. ¡Muy recomendable!

This is a charming historic mansion with great character; while the facilities are a bit dated, the exterior and outdoor scenery are super nice. Free parking makes it perfect for those driving, it is only a short drive from the Bath city center. The traditional-style hotel bar was quiet and moody, it stays open until 11pm, allowing us to enjoy a drink even after arriving late from dinner. The room size was decent and the heating worked well; the bathroom featured a bathtub though it took some time for the hot water to start flowing properly. Unfortunately, a false fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, which disrupted our sleep, but since we were only staying for one night and checking out early, I didn't raise the issue. It was a classic ”old hotel” experience as expected, and the exceptionally warm and friendly attitude of the front desk staff made up for the hiccups, though my expectations might be higher if I were staying for a longer period.

Stayed at Wentworth House for one night. The location was handy — only about a 6 or 7-minute taxi ride into the centre of Bath. Parking on site was free, which is always a bonus, though spaces were limited. The shower worked fine with good hot water, and at £120 a night for three people, the price wasn’t unreasonable for Bath. On the downside, the place is very dated and could do with some serious modernisation. Our room had a noticeable damp smell and the single-glazed windows didn’t help keep the room warm or quiet. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there, but overall, it’s an okay option if you just need somewhere for a night and aren’t too fussy — though a refresh would really lift the place.
