Alma Cliffe Guest House

We stayed here for the night in the family room everything was perfect felt like home from home Tracey has put alot of thought and detail to make your stay welcoming plenty to choose from for breakfast bedroom lovely and the bathroom is big would highly recommend to stay here we will definitely be coming back

Beautiful little gem, we stayed for 2 nights but could of easily stayed for longer, breathtaking views all around, plenty of places to visit by foot, cycling or like us we loved the roads on our motorbike. Beautiful clean rooms and very thoughtful little touches in the room and bathroom. A* breakfast and also very thoughtful extras it felt like home from home. Loved the sunroom you could sit there all day and watch the world go by. Tracey and Richard are perfect host so so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, and i loved the three fur babies I could of taken them home with me they where so well behaved. I would and will definitely be recommending this lovely guest house to everyone. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Had a lovely stay it is a real home from home experience. Our rooms were lovely clean and private bathrooms and we had a lovely view. For your breakfast it's a continental type, a choice of cerial ,bread ect.fresh fruit in the fridge and yogurts.A cooked breakfast is available on request at a charge either a small or medium,and it is worth every penny. Hopefully we will be able to get back for another visit. Tracy is a lovely host and cannot do enough for you

A wonderful guest house. We enjoyed staying here, and loved the view from ‘The Three Peaks Room’. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and a small, but good bathroom and shower. Extra toiletries if you’ve forgotten something. The Continental breakfast was more than sufficient. Any cereal you can think of, even gluten free. Good toasting bread, crumpets, butter and various jams. Also lots of fresh fruit and yoghurts. You can order cooked breakfast at a cost, but we were happy with the continental one. There was also a shelf with biscuits, bars, and other snacks we could help ourselves to if we were peckish. Tracey was the perfect host, and we enjoyed chatting with her. It’s a short walk into Barnoldswick, with cafés, pubs and restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying there.

My friend and I, having cycled from Chorley, about 41 miles and arriving about 8pm very tired it was a delight to to be in the Three Peaks Room which has stunning views across the countryside with the sun low in the sky. The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. With complimentary drinks, sweets and snacks in the room which was a very nice touch. Another bonus was a large selection of toiletries for the guests, not something you get in many guest houses. I chose the continental breakfast of with there was a comprehensive selection to choose from. Our host, Tracy was a delightful lady and I can't thank her enough for a welcoming and comfortable night at their guest house. This is without doubt one of the nicest guest houses I have stayed at in many a year.

Our stay at the Alma Cliffe Guest House was really special and our charming hostess (Tracey) made sure all our needs were met to ensure we had a memorable overnight experience. The rooms were extremely clean, well furnished with comfortable beds and the breakfast had plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We used the guest house to break our cycle journey on the Leeds - Liverpool canal. So just be aware that there is quite a climb from the canal to reach the guest house, but well worth it!
