Lovely clean and modern room. Full WI-FI connection with good speed allowing streaming. Had Sunday Lunch and also breakfast the next day in the restaurant and food was all very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a short break. Car parking can be found around the back of the hotel past Morrisons supermarket, turn right across the shop car park.

My daughter and son-in-law had a get together with family and friends the night before their wedding in the Cellar Bar of The 3 Horseshoes on 23rd August 2024. It was fantastic, the bar is a beautiful room, the staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious. It was a great atmosphere to all meet up in. The bar was decorated with balloons and signs with their names on were up. The cocktails even had wafers on the sides of the glasses with their names on. We were all very impressed with the effort that the staff had made and it was very reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend this room for parties and get togethers. Fabulous place.

Our room was over the road from the 3 horseshoes but was a lovely room with an extremely comfortable king-size bed. Everything thing was there we could have wanted. Breakfast was amazing all fresh the staff helpful and attentive my wife ordered smashed avocado and said it was the best she'd tasted.

We went for an evening meal and were not disappointed, the atmosphere, friendly staff, varied drinks and food menu was excellent. The food we had was well presented with generous portions , I recommend booking as the venue was really busy and it was so good we booked for a further nights meal

The hotel exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The cleanliness, the comfort and the location. The staff deserve a special mention, they were warm friendly and most importantly of all efficient. Just a great place to stay. I would recommend the Three Horse Shoes for business or pleasure, for over night or a holiday.

My friend and I stopped here on our way to Scotland .We had a lovely room a really good meal that night in the hotel restaurant and a good breakfast was included the next morning. even for a vegan like myself. All the staff were really friendly and helpful we had a very good nights sleep on very comfortable beds and set of fully refreshed the next morning.

Enjoyed a very good meal in the restaurant. Well cooked and presented and delicious tasting food - main courses -belly pork, pan seared coley with lovely sauces etc and nice desserts too. Service was friendly and attentive. For a busy bank holiday weekend it didn't feel rushed but neither did we have to wait long for our food.

Came for an evening meal as staying on nearby campsite , didn’t book but as it was a Monday evening it wasn’t that busy. Good service, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Ordered the sea bass which was lovely, my partner had the fish and chips which he also enjoyed very much. Would definitely recommend, not the cheapest but worth it.

Called into this pub/hotel on our way home from Durham as they had outside seating and it was a glorious day. Food was excellent and what a lovely venue inside, also has a beer gardens and rooms, a little gem! Thinking of staying here overnight in the future.
