Convenient Location, Decent Rooms, but Some Flaws
I stayed at Stay With Me Bangkok for 1 night, and while the price was reasonable, my overall experience was a mix of pros and cons.
Let’s start with the positives. The location is a standout feature—just a 300-meter walk to BTS Phra Khanong and 450 meters to BTS Ekkamai. This made getting around Bangkok incredibly convenient. For those planning to head to Pattaya, the proximity to Ekkamai Bus Station (within walking distance) is a huge plus, saving both time and effort. The room itself was fairly spacious and comfortable, with a large window offering a decent view, though nothing spectacular. Another advantage is its closeness to Gateway Mall, located right across from BTS Ekkamai, which offers a variety of shops and dining options.
Now for the downsides. The room deposit was quite steep at 500 baht, which felt excessive for a budget-friendly stay. I also encountered some maintenance issues—the bathroom drain was clogged, and the hot water didn’t work, which was disappointing. Additionally, there is no elevator, so carrying luggage up the stairs can be a hassle. Lastly, the surrounding area lacked vibrant nightlife and halal food options, which may be a drawback for certain travelers.
Overall, I’d give this hotel a 3 out of 5 stars. It’s a good choice for short stays, especially for those relying on public transport, but improvements in facilities and services would make it a much better experience.
