Leuk traditioneel guesthouse op een top locatie. Direct tegenover een park en met volop eetgelegenheden op loopafstand. Interieur is deels origineel gehouden met traditionele details. Prima ruime kamer met goed bed en nette badkamer. Airco aanwezig en het beste wifi signaal op onze reis in Indonesië tot nu toe. Fantastische service, kregen bij binnenkomst gelijk een heerlijk sapje en elke dag een afternoon tea met snack. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, maar spreekt weinig Engels. Hoeft op zich geen probleem te zijn maar kan voor verwarring zorgen bij bestelde maaltijden of afspraken qua tijd zoals bij ons. De Engelse teksten overal op de borden (zelfs het wifi password is Engels) en gerechten op de menukaart doen vermoeden dat er goed Engels gesproken wordt, maar dat is dus niet het geval. Ontbijt was op zich prima, op bestelling, dus verwacht geen uitgebreid buffet. De tuna sandwich is niet aan te bevelen, toast met mayonaise en komkommer maar ik heb de tonijn niet gezien. Wat mij betreft kunnen ze op dit vlak ook beter traditioneel blijven. Dat maakt dit guesthouse nu juist zo aantrekkelijk. Die Westerse dingen zien we overal al. Minpuntje vonden we wel de gehorige kamers. Je hoort alles op de galerij voor de kamer en van de binnenplaats. Desondanks vonden we het een zeer aangenaam verblijf op een prachtige locatie in de stad.

Vriendelijk personeel, maar spreekt niet echt Engels. De kamer was prima maar het bed erg hard, je voelde de veren/spiraal in je rug. De badkamer was niet erg hygiënisch en had overal vlekken. Zit wel op een leuke locatie tegenover een park, maar ik zou het vrienden niet aanraden.
