Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast

Booked room while other families used other booking platform. Front counter is nice to give us rooms on the same floor. We also requested for a late checkout which is at 1pm. We were also given coupons for free welcome drink. Our overall encounter generally w hard rock is amazing. And we love it. My mother in law say it is a waste for staying for 2 days and 1 night and there's a lot to explore. Ohh also do check out in store too! If you are a guest there and shop at a certain amount, u can get free gift and further discounts!

The hotel is amazing! Has amazing facilities for kids such as the water playground and kids club. Super convenient access to the water park! You can conveniently rent the towels from the hotel’s pool to bring to the water park. Our room is right outside the water park but the sound proofing is great! Can barely hear any noise from the water park. Hotel buffet breakfast is amazing too. Will def book hard rock again if I were to revisit desaru!

I had great stay here. The only problem is... They don't really know about healthy food. Everything is Fast food. But it's a great room-dining delivered by Grabfood. The room has dining table already~

Hotel was set in sprawling lands. Best feature was the waterpark literally just next door. However I suppose as it was the school holidays, service was quite slow. Our luggage was not sent up to our room an hour after we checked in. When we called the reception, nobody knew where our luggage was, but was given the reassurance they would find it. After waiting for another 10 mins, we decided to head up to the lobby and lo and behold! Our luggage was still at the concierge. We told the concierge that those were our luggage, and without checking, he just nodded his head and we took off with our luggage. No security checks. The concierge seems overwhelmed at the number of guests that day. The hotel glass shelves had a layer of dust on it. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for a while, which was quite unacceptable being a 5 star hotel. Room was a bit too dark for me and the Aircon was constantly cold even after I adjusted the temperature to 32 degrees Celsius! Breakfast was a riot with the large expansive halls being filled to the brim. Plates and cutlery was constantly unavailable. When the plates came, they seem to have been hastily washed with oil stains. Husband had a bad stomach after consuming some curry. To be honest, the employees tried their best to be as hospitable as possible, but it was just unfortunate that we arrived at a time where it seems the entire hotel was severely shorthanded.

Front Desk is kind enough to arrange us all on the same floor and a set of connecting room. We really enjoyed our stay, will be back next time.

Not much activity for adults. The swimming pool is too small. Not a idea place for couple. Is more for family with kids and near to Adventure Waterpark. Overall rating: 4 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Staff is friendly Service is good Breakfast can be improve

Happy with services provided at the hotel wh8ch is just next to the water theme park and buggy provided to the beach.
