Ashlea Guest House

Stayed here for work and I felt really comfortable and I am someone who struggles to sleep in hotels. The place is clean, has parking, located next to Horton hospital and near the motorway which makes the place so convenient for someone travelling for work. You have everything that you need in the room similar to a hotel and can also adjust room temperature when it gets cold. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Has been commandeered by the local Council to house the homeless. Currently not available for booking. I guess it's a no brainer for the owner..... far more lucrative and less work to house those who do not work . What next ..... a block booking of dinghy people?

Really friendly and helpful manager welcomed me in. Lots of parking, room 1 is a good size, decent shower and comfy bed. Nice big tv. Plug sockets next to bed. Lovely breakfast. Will definitely stay again………………. ………………. ………………. ……………….10/10

Always a warm welcome in this spotless B&B. I have stayed here multiple times now and the standards are consistently high. The rooms are spotlessly clean (as are all communal areas). The welcome is always warm and the beds are large and comfortable. Despite being situated on a main road into Banbury, this B&B is quiet and cosy. The breakfast is delicious and the hosts are always accommodating. There is plenty of parking outside, but equally this B&B is situated just a short walk from the town with lots of restaurants and shops near by. I would definitely recommend the Ashlea Guest House to anyone

A nice welcome when we arrived, we signed in and headed to our room. It wasn't the room I had booked but Ayman rectified this without a problem. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and the bedroom radiator worked well. Although the room (6) was at the front of the property, overlooking the main road, it was surprisingly quiet, (there was some traffic noise if sirens or a large truck went past but not anywhere as bad as I had feared considering the location) so must have great double glazing. The curtains blocked out most of the light too. The shower room was on the small side and the shower caddy’s and soap dispenser could be updated. The breakfast room was spacious, although maybe some music playing would create some atmosphere. The full English was nice and generous with two sausages and two rashers of bacon included. A pleasant stay with a friendly send off from Ayman and Julie.

What an absolute pleasure staying at The Ashlea guest house. Ayman and Julie can’t do enough to make your stay perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Banbury, Great location, can’t wait to visit again. Thank you so so much. All our love Stacey and Eadie
