We are a mature aged Australian couple who stayed here for 7 days. It was recommended to us by friends. We did not experience any of the negative comments from previous reviews. This is good accommodation. The villas are set in a large grassed are with well kept gardens and around a good sized pool. The staff are friendly and very efficient. The manager, Andie,was friendly and helpful. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

Appalling. The photos must have been taken a century ago . They bear absolutely no resemblance to the actual facilities. Opened a cupboard to be overcome by a swarm of mosquitoes that had been breeding in moss covered pools that smelled of vegetation of years gone by. The staff were obviously not paid well due to the laconic attitude displayed. The restaurant was under construction and not available, but was still advertised even after we left. Safe was broken , mosquito nets were dirty, had 2 power outages , no mosquito coils, the outside shower had fruit flies of some sort flying out of holes in the taps. The swimming pool was slippery and dangerous and way over chlorinated. Run, don’t walk away from this destination.

Great place to stay . Only limited amount of villas in a large area. Very private and quite. Each villa had a bedroom, out door living area with sun bed qndnoutdoo kitchen, dining area. Shared pool with trre cover and plenty of sunbeds. Andy and his stuff very friendly and helpful. Resturant being renovated, opening in may.

Do not stay here! We recently stayed here in October. At over $200 a night our experience did not match the promising pictures and wonderful reviews showcased on ***********. We were fully prepared for an older style property but the level of uncleanliness and lack of hygiene at this accommodation were unacceptable with noticeable mould on the sheets, slimy and mouldy bathroom surfaces, and towels that were not just old but discoloured and stained. Furthermore, the kitchenware was in an unsanitary condition, and the floors seemed like they hadn't been properly cleaned for a long time. It was disappointing to see that even the basic amenities were not maintained to a decent standard. The towels were never replaced, and it appeared that the only service provided was the making of the beds, with no signs of any cleaning efforts. . Furniture was soiled, and it seemed like pool towels were reused without proper washing. This neglectful attitude towards cleanliness greatly affected our overall experience. The lack of proper maintenance and sanitation made our visit uncomfortable and disappointing. I sincerely hope that the owners address these issues for future guests.

My husband and I stayed at the Natah Bale Villas in August for 6 nights. The Villas were recommended by a friend. The grounds are green and beautiful, but the Villa needed updating. The towels were old and in bad condition. I don't think they were refreshed just refolded!! (That was not pleasant) I really can't tell you if the sheets were refreshed, but the bed was made everyday. The floor still gritty after they swept and there was dust on top of the mosquito netting. The hot water in the shower took a while to get hot and the pebbles under foot were a hazard. Water bottles were provided daily, but no coffee or tea provided. There was an outside kitchen equipped with table and chairs, kettle, fridge and stove. We had to ask someone to turn on the gas. Disappointed we had to go outside our villa for our cold drinks, letting mosquitoes in. It is in a great location, staff friendly, but would not stay here again.

As a nature lover, this hotel is splendid! Such space, with architecture and design suited to the climate. Love the orchestra that comes on at nite with the frogs. The teens were not happy that there was only 1 power point in the bed room but that's fine by us. There are only a handful of villas which means its really quiet and nice. This is not the Marriot but I love it!

Check in very easy Unusual rooms rooms and set up but likeable Kitchen area big Staff will come to your kitchen and cook you a simple breakfast but nice As most Asian hotels staff are there biggest asset this one no exception Grounds are big and very well maintained giving a spacious feeling great Swimming pool left a bit to be desired Location is good close to restaurants and bars Beach is few hundred meters easy walk

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Natah Bale Villa in Sanur. We had stayed in Sanur twice before and both times felt a bit squashed in and having to share pools and areas with many other guests. Natah Bale is a gem. We had our own villa style accommodation with a huge bathroom and bedroom. Very clean and well airconditioned. The attention to detail and the service was amazing. We had a huge day bed to lounge and read on for an afternoon break after a busy morning and before heading out for the night. Whilst this accommodation is not directly on the beach it is only a short 5-10 minute walk. But there are abundant restaurants and shops in very close proximity. Nightly live music. We felt very safe walking around. The pool area was a shared area but as there are only 7 Villas most of the time we had the pool to ourselves or shared with a couple of people. Fresh pool towels on the pool chairs each morning was a bonus. Would highly recommend as a quite place to stay but with so much space and lawn area it would be great for families also.

Natah Bale (pronounced like ballet) offers a selection of individual villas each with enclosed air conditioned bedroom, massive bathroom, outdoor kitchen and dining and a huge seating area with sofas and daybed. We usually stay in a private pool villa but in this case our living area overlooked the huge swimming pool which made it feel like our own. There were plenty of sun loungers, perfect for tanning. The water temperature was a little warm but it was spotless and easy to access with steps at both ends and the sides. For the price you pay, this place offers incredible value for money. It doesn't offer the high end experience of a hotel as the linen needs updating but it does offer an incredible amount of space, a decent size fridge, a bedroom with great air con and tv with ABC and other international channels. All in all it is a great option in a good location (opposite entrance to Puri Santrian which you can walk through to beach) and we will most definitely stay here again. Thank you to Andi and the staff for making our 5 day stay perfect in every way.
