Galalima Glamping by Agata

I wanted to write a devastating review because Agata refused to give us a 2 night refund when we had to check out after 1 night. But I've decided not to, but still people need to know this place might not be suitable for you. The tents are amazing, you'll feel like a true adventurer. And the manager onsite is a fantastic guy, good at heart. - You are approximately 70 meter from the waterfall, the noise is something to be aware of. Comparable with 3 airconditioning with heavy rain at the same time. 24/7. My wife has Tinnitus, so we couldn't survive that for 3 nights. (I slept with headphones on). Plus cutting chainsaws during day time to make the sound experience complete. - If you're not in a good physical condition, this place is not manageable. 100 deep steps to your tent and 100 up to go to the pool or kantine. You don't want to do that more then twice a day. - You are secluded, nothing in the neighbourhood, you depend on kantine food. This can be great or not, depends on what you like. - Swimmingpool looks moldy and kantine furniture is uncomfortable hard. Only 4 sunbeds at the pool. With nothing else around you that can be a problem if you planned a relaxt pool day. For the rest, a true jungle experience. We ourselves have a house in the jungle, but for us it was impossible to sleep, so we had to leave without any understanding from the owner, which was really disappointing. Also *********** ignored us and did nothing to help, but we are used to that unfriendly attitude.

Location: really remote at tabanan residence. Prepare 3hrs from airport. It has their own waterfall, crazy. You really are in the jungle. Prepare insect repellents Tent: huge 60m2. I stayed at selako ⛺️ with shower, king bed and chairs also swinging lounge at the porch. Very comfy Amenities: only one Resto served’ ok’breakfast Vibe: very relaxing, private, enjoying self consciousness If you want nothing just to relax need no one, this is your place Will I come back? Yes

We were at that time look for a different experience in Bali where we decided to do a glamping at Galalima and it is literally the best glamping we ever had. The tent was glam with very nice bed, furnitures and even a proper shower. There is no signal or wifi so you can have a private and take a break from the hustle. The best part is this glamping have a private waterfall where you can enjoy all by yourself. The staff family also offer tour around the village with many activities can be done. The place is totally down to the village and in the middle in the forest, so be prepare for some snacks, shoes for outdoor activities, mosquito spray, swimsuit, everything that you need for a "camping". Dinner and breakfast, the local family will provide. It was a truly nature experience and we would love to be back another time.

Galalima surprises you in layers. After a long rural road journey, you arrive at a small unassuming entrance, greeted by friendly Wayan & his team. The magic begins..as you are brought to each of the 4 chalets, whose quality will impress. Towels, Toiletries, linen slippers … all details so thoughtfully chosen. Air conditioning is cold, Hot Water pressure and temperature invigorating. The lush landscape will slow down your heart rate as you admire it from the balcony swing couch. Stay for at least 3 nights and enjoy a couples breakfast by the private waterfall one morning and an outdoor dinner by the campfire to round off your stay.

We went to Galalima glamping on the weekend of 10-11th September 2022. With my husband and our 2 Bali dogs. On the way to the place, our eyes were pleased by the scenery of Tabanan nature. When we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was so beautiful and comfortable. We ordered dinner too (ayam bakar and ayam betutu), it was just delicious. We went for a walk in the afternoon and our dogs are playing and running around in the big garden overlooking the waterfall. We really hope to come back again to stay longer than a night. It was a big change from the hustle bustle of Canggu and we would recommend strongly recommend it.

We booked this hotel for 10 of us and the experience is one of the best we had experience so far. The rooms, the staff the scenery, everything was almost perfect except the taste of food and the price of the food could be improved. Wayam and team are just out to serve and please and so polite . I would highly recommend this place who still can walk and climb steps and want a nice experience in Bali.
