Villa the Sanctuary Bali

We recently visited the sanctuary and we stayed for 5 nights as my son was getting married there , it is literally right in the middle of a jungle, all the staff are all very welcoming and we where shown to our villas , if you are not at one with nature this is probably not for you unfortunately for me I have a phobia about geckos , lizards and frogs and didn’t relax as much as everyone did , that is no reflection on the sanctuary and it proved to be a perfect venue for my sons wedding as I am sure the photos and videos will prove , the wedding was absolutely amazing the setting the decor so much attention to detail it was stunning, each and every member of staff led by Mohamad where fantastic and nothing was too much trouble , the food they prepared for us daily was amazing especially breakfast , thank you all so much for your very warm hospitality.

We just returned from the Villa Sanctuary Bali. The villa is one of the most unique and beautiful villas we have ever stayed at. The grounds are stunning. The pictures can’t even begin to show how spectacular the setting is for this villa. The villa is situated in a beautiful “jungle” setting. It’s your own private resort for your group. All the rooms are spectacular with comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms, many with outdoor showers and exquisite furnishings. The master has its own private pool and sitting area that was an oasis unto itself. As beautiful as the villa was, without question what made our stay here most memorable and special was the incredible staff. Salam, Putu, Gede, Gusde and the entire team went above and beyond to take care of our needs. From helping to plan meals, excursions, arranging transportation, special events, and services at the villa they always did so with a smile, and made us feel like family. The service they provided was top notch and is what separates this villa from any others we have stayed at. They really care about their guests and made us feel so welcomed and at home. We highly recommend this villa for any group or family gathering. The owner Frank was great to work with in booking our stay, even among the chaos of covid. Everything went off without a hitch and we are deeply grateful for his efforts. We miss you all and thank you for such an amazing stay. We hope to see you again soon. Big hugs. Villa The Sanctuary Bali is simply a stunning villa resort. We were part of a group of guests coming from Australia and the US, invited to a wedding celebration that lasted 5 days, so we had the pleasure of staying at the villa resort for 5 nights! The delightful staff literally made everyone feel like royalty. Putu and Salam manage the villa with a service oriented approach beyond anything we have ever experienced before. Salam handles daily operations and is 'on call'; we had a WhatsApp group to communicate and it was just amazing. The whole villa team made sure we had everything we wanted. Salam provided us with daily dining suggestions and the in-house chefs cooked us the most delicious meals with fresh ingredients they had bought that day or the night before, in the case of breakfast. Whatever we requested, they made it for us, whether it was part of their standard menu or not! The wedding planner and her staff were very sweet, super well-organized, and the wedding was a major success! A party with 75 guests that we will never forget! I can only highly recommend Villa The Sanctuary Bali for any wedding celebration! We had the best time of our lives and brought back memories that will last a lifetime.

We stayed at Villa Sanctuary to celebrate our wedding with family and friends, we stayed for one week - a week which we had been waiting for the last 3 years due to the pandemic. We are so glad we never gave up on our plans as it was sincerely one of the most amazing weeks of our life and we will remember this week dearly forever. Our wedding was organised in-house by Ellen who understood perfectly the vision we had in mind and brought so much more to it. She covered all details and really put all her heart into making our dream wedding happen. I wasn't sure what organising a wedding really involved but with Ellen, and Tracy on D-day, everything felt easy and smooth. I will be forever grateful for everything she's done to make our special day so special indeed, especially in the middle of a global crisis. Nested in the middle of the jungle by a river, the villa really fits in perfectly, being both beautiful and authentic. We were surrounded by the songs of the frogs at night and birds in the morning. We stayed with a group of 20 adults and 2 kids. All the rooms were perfect for each of us, very comfortable, always tidy and clean (thank you ladies!!). The swimming pool is stunning and of course kids loved it. We would especially like to thank all the staff at the villa for everything they did to make us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. Putu, Salam, Gede, Gusde and everybody else were truly amazing. The chefs cooked delicious meals all week, our favorite was the Indonesian meal which we had a few times over the week. They really covered all dietary restrictions and offered great vegetarian options. We were lucky to organise a BBQ by the pool on the last day, it was fun and delicious again. The level of service is definitely 5-star! Thank you! We hope we can come back again one day. Anya & Ari
