Always Welcome Inn

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a Motel. First night I asked for extra blankets, I was told to turn up the heat in the room. 2nd night I asked for room to get touched up, clean sheets, clean towels, floor swept and trash empty. They said that they usually on do that once every 3 days and it would cost $14.00 extra. When we came back and used the bathroom the toilet plugged. I went to the office, and they said we could move rooms as they had no one to unplug it. I got a plunger from the office and did it myself. on the morning of the 3rd day the toilet got plugged again. This time I asked for it to get fixed and some clean towels. None of that was done when we returned. so I fixed it myself again. I had paid for 4 nights but i could no longer out up with my stay and left a day early. Unless you want a subpar stay do not stay there. We go to Baker City every year and will never stay there again.

I pop in about once or twice a month and I am very impressed with how consistently clean the rooms and grounds are. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are up to date. The manager is always polite, helpful and makes me feel welcome through every stay. I’m also quite happy with how well the grounds are. It is a quiet, safe and clean motel. If your looking for a good nights rest at a fair price, I highly recommend Motel 6 in Baker City.

If all you need is a clean bed and shower, this is perfect. We checked in at 11:45 pm, had a snafu with our reservation (not the hotel’s fault) but the girl at the front desk was friendly and helpful and quickly got us a room. Check out was easy and friendly. A bare bones experience but the staff seems to care about your experience. Would stay again for a bed and shower. No hairdryer in room but I bet they have if you ask.
