Bacolux Diana Resort, Herculane

We came here for one day, friends who had been in this hotel a few months before recommend it, but I was disappointed: Firstly at the reception they told us they do not have a single room and we must accept one double, of course with more money. Second we did not get bathrobes and disposable slippers, are promised but did not receive anything! It was so hard to go to the pool without them, remeber that was at the beginning of the winter. - In balconies it would be good to have a table and ashtray. - should have a shower curtain for bath or the water is spread. - no wifi at upper levels + Breakfast was rich and varied. in conclusion, the facilities have not been in accordance with the offer.

Didn't find the booking on arrival, booked on the same day by phone, took them 24 hours to bring a extra pillow for my daughter, lifts not working we used the stairs to go down from the 10th floor with 4 years old child, rooms not been refreshed daily, beds haven't been made at all during our stay of 4 nights, breakfast very poorly. Not recommended .

a very nice hotel in Baile Herculane with 3* conditions , clean rooms , nice personel, good breakfast , surprisingly good for a ex comunist big hotel in this mountain small city. the city center is now in the process of reconstruction so a place worth going maybe even more next year !

We had 2 lovely nights with bufee breakfast! The food was great, plenty of choices, fresh! We had also 2 dinners at the restaurant, we asked the waiter to choose the food, excellent idea! The personnel was more than kind. The room was clean, large, the bath with jacuzzi ! The view was magnificent! Everything was perfect!

Unfortunately we didn’t get off to a good start with this hotel. Having booked in, four of us with a bag each, we then waited for the lift. There were three lifts, but one was out of order. We waited, waited and waited. Each time it got to the ground floor, it was full. Even if half full, even one of us was not allowed in by the occupants. I can only think they’ve got problems. We went to Reception to ask for a porter, but were told as it was only a 2* hotel, they didn’t have a porter so we’d have to wait for the lift. So we walked up to our rooms, 14 flights of stairs. The room was fine. Clean with a good view. The buffet dinner didn’t look that great, so we had a la carte on the terrace, which was very nice. Breakfast was OK but nothing to rave about. Luckily we were only here one night. Wouldn’t return.

I can't give more then 3 out 5 points to this location, the room big enough, but not really clean, some spider web in the room and in the bathroom some mold, and the mirror I don't think it has been cleaned. The SPA center it's really nice, pool, jacuzzi and sauna had a great time in here. The restaurant it's big, at breakfast we had a lot of choices, we been really impressed about the variety we had in the morning, but at the dinner we have been really disappointed not to much thing to chose,chicken, fish and some meat, the only thing it could be eaten it was the mean, the rest no chance.
