Romantischer Winkel RoLigio & Wellness Resort

We were staying in Bad Sachsa but not in the hotel. We thought this place is highly recommended so lets go there for dinner. This turned out to be a disappointing experience. First of all, when we came in with dripping coats and umbrellas we were just brought to our table, and we had to chase down staff so they could put them away in the cloakroom. Clearly not an issue with hotel guests. Next surprise was the very limited menu. There are 3 main dishes on the menu (hopefully a daily rotating one) and they have one soup of the day and one appetizer. Prices were not shown or mentioned. We were informed we had to pick the main dish and could get the soup and appetizer from the the buffet (again, there we no other choices). As we didn't like the 3 main dishes offered we learned they could also serve us a rumpsteak. No prices were mentioned (nor did I ask). We ordered a 34 euro bottle of wine to go with the steaks. When the waiter retuned she mentioned they did no longer had this wine but they had a good alternative, again no prices were mentioned (nor did I ask), but when we got the bill at the end this "good (for them) alternative" was with 58 euros almost double the price... The food was good and if you are a hotel guest staying for a number of days the very limited choice is of course no concern, but if you go there as a guest only for dinner this is weird. What also struck us as weird is that for some guest the waiter offered to get the items from the buffet, but this was not offered to everybody and most certainly it was not offered to us. We noticed that even some hotel guests were looking at this with surprise. The real surprise for us came when we were offered the bill. The rumpsteaks which were fine but not great and were 34 euros each, as mentioned above the wine turned out to be 58 euros, 4 euros for the water and 32 euros in total for the soup, appetizer and deserts coming to a total of 162 euros. Again the food was good but the overall experience, available choices and price-value are totally off. This was for me the 3rd night in a row I went for dinner with my wife, the first night we spent 400 euros and the food, drinks and service were fabulous, the second night we had dinner in Bad Sachsa for 70 euros and the food was good. This third night was the first one where i really did not get value for the price paid, so unless you are a hotel guest, don't go there for dinner.

Nach vielen wirklich schönen Jahren, in denen der Romantische Winkel für uns ein fester Bestandteil unseres Vorweihnachtsurlaubs war, fällt es uns nicht leicht, diese Zeilen zu schreiben. Doch leider sehen wir uns inzwischen dazu veranlasst, uns von diesem Haus als Urlaubsziel zu distanzieren. Was einst ein Ort mit besonderem Flair, Herzlichkeit und individueller Betreuung war, fühlt sich heute zunehmend wie ein Betrieb nach Massenabfertigungs-Prinzip an. Mit jedem Jahr hatten wir das Gefühl, dass das persönliche Engagement nachlässt und sich das Angebot kaum weiterentwickelt – stattdessen steigen die Preise spürbar, besonders im Spa-Bereich, ohne dass die Qualität damit Schritt hält. Besonders traurig stimmt uns die Entwicklung im Service: Früher herzlich und aufmerksam, heute oft unpersönlich und teils unfreundlich. Auch das kulinarische Angebot, das uns lange begeistert hat, lässt inzwischen spürbar nach – sowohl in Auswahl als auch in Qualität. Es schmerzt, diese Veränderung festzustellen, weil wir viele schöne Erinnerungen mit dem Romantischen Winkel verbinden. Doch der einstige Wohlfühlcharakter, der uns immer wieder hat zurückkehren lassen, ist für uns leider nicht mehr gegeben. Wir bedanken uns aufrichtig für die vielen wunderbaren Jahre und wünschen dem Haus alles Gute – verbunden mit der Hoffnung, dass man vielleicht doch wieder zurückfindet zu dem, was diesen Ort einst so besonders gemacht hat.

Das Essen ist lecker und für jeden etwas dabei. Auch für Kinder ist es ein Erlebnis. Das Hotel liegt direkt am See. Auch für ältere Leute ist ein Spaziergang täglich um den See machbar. Im Erlebniswohnzimmer sind viele große Brettspiele aufgestellt, so dass keine lange Weile aufkommt. Die Zimmer sind toll ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts. Auch der große Wellnessbereich ist für Jung und Alt empfehlenswert. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne, da der Service und die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter bemerkenswert gut ist. Dem Gast wird jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Vielen lieben Dank an das ganze Team

Sehr gelungenes Gesamtkonzept, bei dem sich der Gast wie zu Hause fühlt. Herzlicher Empfang, renovierte Zimmer, großer Spa-Bereich, Bar und Restaurant sehr freundliches Personal und die Kulinarik lässt auch nichts zu wünschen übrig.

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die gemütliche und familiäre Atmosphäre im gesamten Haus ist sehr angenehm- dadurch hat der Aufenthalt einen hohen erholungswert. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen- super Angebot, frische und regionale Speisen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und stets bemüht um des Wohl des Gastes. Die Wellness Anwendungen sind sehr zu empfehlen.

das hotel war sehr entspannend und ruhig die zimmer waren geräumig sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet der wellnessbereich war wirklich erstklassig mit verschiedenen massage und therapieangeboten das essen im restaurant war frisch und lecker das personal war sehr aufmerksam und professionell die lage inmitten der natur war perfekt für spaziergänge die preise waren für die angebotene leistung absolut angemessen
