Come Friday Cottages

We stayed in the Saltwater Gypsy (the two-bedroom unit) for three nights whilst touring Texas for the eclipse. Come Friday Cottages was the perfect location for a couple of days unwinding amongst our packed itinerary. It's also ideally located for a visit to Houston Space Center, which was on our bucket list to visit. The unit itself is really funky and quirky, and I loved that it had its own character. It was really good to have a separate Wifi per unit as well, which was ideal for us non-Americans who can't use the mobile networks. The cottage was clean and comfortable too and although I had my reservations about the bed being too soft, I managed three good nights of sleep! Angel, the maintenance man, was very friendly and welcoming and even offered to loan his fishing rods in case we fancied a go on the dock. The position on the bay was lovely and made for some relaxing and calming evenings. Overall it was much more fun than staying in a boring, non-descript white box and if I'm ever back in the area I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

What a pleasure to visit this getaway paradise. This is what a vacation spot should be - beautiful sunrises and warm host.The Rooms were quiet and peaceful and very gorgeous inside and out. My family will be spending a lot of time here in the future..!!!
