Napa Plaza Hotel

What a great place, located just off the main square. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the place is modern and stylish. Great service all round

The hotel has a really lovely atmosphere. Tranquil and relaxing. We chose this hotel due to the lounge area near the pool and bar as we prefer to sit in a chill environment opposed to a hotel with entertainment. On arrival we were shown our room. There were two paper bags each with a sandwich, apple and a carton of juice. This was a nice touch but have had better in other hotels. The room was dated, as other guests have said. There was a funny, chemical smell in our room, the wooden furniture was blown from the condensation and the bath really needs to be replaced with a shower. Air-conditioning worked well and rooms were cleaned to an acceptable standard daily. Only niggles were the balcony was not swept so sand from the beach was there for our entire stay and mirrors were not wiped down. Our first night was peaceful, but the following night and then for the next four nights we had some very load neighbourhoods who were next to us and directly opposite. They were going out at 2am shouting and coming back crashing furniture, being sick, shouting and on one evening howling like wolves. I reported this to guest relations on the first night who took the room numbers, but nothing changed. Luckily, they went home after the fourth night, and we just slept in the sun bed through the day. We were all inclusive and cannot complain about the quality of the food and drinks. The three restaurants were absolutely amazing, Pepper bar being our favourite. In the hotel the cocktails were superb, however, the service was slow and took us a while to change from the quick service expected in the UK to the chilled environment of the Soma Lounge. We did feel that guests who were paying received a better service than those who were all inclusive. They were served quicker, more frequently and with a more friendly manner. I found this annoying as we were still paying, but we had just prepaid. It felt like the staff had the opinion that we were not worthy of the same level of service. Sunbeds were not an issue during our stay, there were still many available at 9am. Obviously the best positions around the pool had been reserved with towels, but we didn’t mind. As we entered the second week of our holiday, we noticed a change over of guest which changed the sunbed reservation dynamics and people began to reserve sunbed between 6-7am. If you went out in the morning you were unlikely to get a sunbed on your return. The food in Cloistesr was always delicious. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and often remembered what drink you were having with your meal. We were only ever offered one but had usually finished our meal and returned to the Soma Lounge for another. The surrounding area was pleasant, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Some enjoyable excursions and the beaches are stunning! I am glad we chose this hotel as it was right in the middle of everything and a beautiful, peaceful oasis inside. I am not sure that we would return to Ayia Napa again as we pref

Lovely hotel and staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and tidy and fully air conditioned which is great. We were breakfast only and they were so much choice and really fresh and well topped up. Location is great as it is close to restaurants, pharmacy, bars and the beach. The only downside to this Hotel was the sun lounger situation as when we arrived back at night they were towels on the loungers already and if you wasn’t up for 7ish on the morning all the loungers had been taken and it seemed to be the same people on the same loungers also some people didn’t actually sit on them til midday. We were going to go inclusive for 3 days but the lounger situation made us think otherwise, so we went to the beach 4 days out of the 7.

Arrived approx 23.00 hours reception got us checked in very quick. Room was fairly big (265) enough wardrobe space. Balcony backed onto a church & play area. Beds were comfortable . Woke at 8am next day for breakfast excellent choice of all breakfast you could wish for. Pretty good I thought. Sunloungers ALL taken by towels with nobody on them!! My pet hate when we’re abroad. For the rest of the week we were up at 6:30 to get a sunlounger and at that time MOST were taken by towels!!! Staff around poool area pleasant , Pool a good size. Seating area by outdoor bar lovely , food was delicious Close to all resturants & bars. Would recommend this hotel

The hotel is really beautiful, multiple restaurants where you can eat and a good buffet breakfast. The service was amazing, all the staff were very kind and friendly, and thank you so much Munipal who did an amazing job making sure our room was spotless every day! I definitely think the indoor pool could be kept open for longer though as it closes as soon as sunset starts especially since it's indoors, and also some rooms don't have access to a lift. But it didn't affect our stay and you can ask for a room with lift access. Overall I would recommend.

I had such a lovely time here , Munipal was a very kind cheerful and charismatic member of staff. I loved the pool, the breakfast , the hotel restaurants and the atmosphere. It’s a great place to both relax and have fun. It’s also in an awesome location - on the Ayia Napa ***** and is near to both restaurants, shops and fun things to do.

Absolutely stunning hotel. The variety of bars and restaurants is excellent. At night some do them are lively and fun, others relaxing and atmospheric. We were all inclusive. The food in all restaurants including pool bar is superior, loved the Italian lobster risotto. Breakfast lunch and dinner all have amazing choices for everyone and very fresh. I loved how the Executive Chef came out to talk to us and seek feedback, as well as her being visible in all the restaurants. The bar manager-general manager was also visible, supervising well and attentive. The reception staff and staff at the bar and restaurants are excellent at what they do and often remembered our typical drinks. Everyone works hard and seems happy to be doing what they do. Cocktails were varied, always made fresh and from good quality alcohol. I hope someone sees this to tell them. Daily we got fruit shots, ice cold face cloths which were pearly white and fresh to cool sunbathers down and little melon servings by the pool were a lovely touch. The pool was very clean/people seem to put towels down about 730am which is annoying but that’s my only complaint. our room was lovely, cleaned very well everyday too and our room smelled lovely and fresh. Late arrival at night offered us sandwiches and juice in our room too. It’s central to harbour area and beach and 2 min walk to live entertainment. I honestly could not fault this hotel and would absolutely come back. Because of the standard, service and little touches.

We had a lovely time staying at Napa Plaza. After som trouble with our room the staff was accommodating and helpful with our concerns. Even after a, not so great boat trip, they went above and beyond even though it wasn’t their responsibility. The food was good with a big variety but a little too geared towards tourists. Would have loved some more local cuisine options! Even though the place has been around for some years it’s still well taken care of and a nice hotel worth the money. A nicely sized pool with clean surrounding and great vibes. It’s located right in the heart of town with lots of nice restaurants and bars all around, I recommend KOTA for a great experience. Regardless if you’re in Ayia Napa for relaxation or for partying you have both options here. Much like an oasis you can retreat into the heart of the hotel for a mid day nap and won’t be disturbed by the sounds of party music. A church and monastery is located just behind the hotel, newly refurbished. A special thank you to the kind housekeeping team, the wonderful massage therapists and the lovely Andry.
