Atlantica SunGarden Beach

Family of 6 stayed for 2 weeks I feel most positives are tainted with a negative Many staff were friendly many were not Food was overall good but serving cooked meat with hands that have raw chicken on is not good. Cracking eggs and not washing hands between serving cooked crepes again not great. Drinks ok didn’t like the cocktails all too fake tasting and overly sweet, soft drinks fine water filling stations good. Bar staff ok but some did have stroppy attitudes. Really rude to tell off the bar staff for making a cocktail a guest requested in front of you. Husband asked for 3 espresso martinis the barman was told off for making them and told no more they are too busy. It was so quiet. Andreas sometimes polite mostly rude and unkind to his staff embarrassing to see staff being told off. Waiting staff are so busy and rushed off their feet in really warm weather too. Fabira was lovely and our daughter really looked forward to seeing her every day. Tall man in the dining hall seemed like he wanted to make sure everyone was happy polite without being over the top. Room was clean, but not at the same time stayed for 2 weeks and beds weren’t changed, blue crystals on the floor behind the door there 1st day still there when we left - go look behind the door. It’s like the walkways were clean but not the corners. The curtain wasn’t big enough for the balcony door so the light at night and in the morning disturbed all of our children’s sleep. Snack bar good but one day the watermelon tasted of onions so that would mean they’ve used the same chopping board. Some lifeguards watching some chatting at the bar one had ear pods in how could he hear if someone needed help? Sun bed situation is completely ridiculous. My husband got ill and needed hospital treatment jet2 were great. The hotel was quickly defensive about food poisoning and the drs didn’t run enough tests to see the cause of his illness. However, they were kind in offering help with food alternatives, my husband ate bland food for a couple of days and he felt much better with the antibiotics and rehydration. The rest of the family were not sick so I doubt it was a bug, no one else in the hotel was sick, so who knows, I can’t fault them for their offers of care though. I’m not sure if I would return the view beach and pools were lovely Blonde lady on the front desk needs to smile she’s front of house.

Myself, my partner, and our two young children under two visited Atlantica Sungarden Beach Hotel. The hotel was brilliant; the staff are so friendly and willing to help anyway they can. The food was nice hotel is not far from the harbour. We always managed to get a sunbed, and the rooms were always cleaned really well.

My wife and I stayed here 1-9th of May 2025 First time ever visiting Ayia Napa and well certainly be back Hotel was beautifully clean, well equipped and lovely atmosphere Gym adequate to do a workout with a good selection of machines All inclusive great food and drink, different cuisines and you can book once per week to the ale carte Normal buffet style for breakfast lunch and dinner really tasty food 10 minute walk into the main strip/beach and has a little supermarket on site which is well priced Would recommend and would come again for sure

Just returned from a lovely week at this hotel. Everything was smooth from booking process, check in, flights, transfers and hotel check in all booked with TUI. Absolutely no complaints. The hotel is very nice. I’d say some areas need abit of attention but on the whole it was lovely. The WiFi is excellent. Never had any problems. We had a sea view family room but there was only 2 of us staying in it. I think it would be snug if the other 2 in the room were teenagers as there isn’t masses of room to get around. There is a good amount of storage and plenty of hangers. We had an added bonus of sun loungers and a table and chairs on our terrace and it was a game changer for us. Fridge, kettle, safe in the room all great. A lovely bathroom. The shower gel provided was nicer than the Molton Brown we had taken with us so that speaks volumes. You will never starve in this hotel that’s for sure. The restaurant is open alot of the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus there is always sandwiches and cakes in the bar area and hot snacks near the pool to help yourself to. I started this the day before leaving the hotel and was going to say there is no swim up bar which is advertised - however we just found another pool area we had no idea about and there is a swim up bar!!! The other pool is like a whole other village with lota more rooms. The indoor pool was closed when we arrived but opened on 1st April. The gym didn’t open until 9am which I think is alittle late. It wasn’t manned so I don’t see why the door can’t be unlocked earlier. It meant I didn’t have time to go before breakfast. I think in summer it opens about 8.15am which is alittle better. Also this area need a refurb, the equipment is old, rusty and not very clean. It’s also not air conditioned there was just a single unit to turn on yourself in a corner but didn’t cover the whole space. All staff are really friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Entertainment was just ok. Some nights were worse than others. If felt alittle bit like Haven. We didn’t sit in the main room (we sat in the bar outside but you could still hear it). Bar staff are really friendly and ready to top you up when you are running low. 2 small comments (I don’t want to call them complaints) … our room was located opposite the staff room and as they start early they are particularly loud. I think it would be better for their room to be relocated as the walls are very thin so as soon as they arrive you are woken up. Also the air con in the rooms wasn’t good. During the night was very hot. We had air con running and the temperature never dropped below 20 which felt very hot. Especially when you are using hair dryers abs straightners in the room. During the stay, it was my partners 60th birthday. The staff were so lovely. They gave us a bottle of champagne and glasses for the room and the ala carte made an extra special effort. The ala carte restaurant was so good we actually paid to retur

The evening food was awful, the staff were not friendly at all enterment was rubbish and the pool side aerobics girl never spoke one word the whole time she was doing it. The bar staff got my 14 year old really drunk with shots even though she only looks 14 and had a child’s band on other guest were watching all this thought she would be safe being left for a few hours with her cousins. Our room was nice and very clean. Will not be going back

I returned this morning (10 July 25) from a week with my wife in the Atlantica Sungarden Beach. What a great hotel where the service, location, facilities and above all the staff are wonderful. Any requirements / requests were met without any fuss and always with a 'Customer First' attitude. Whilst all staff members were great, there were a few that were outstanding. Sylvia in the relax pool area, Daniel the lifeguard who had the onerous task of keeping the relax pool and adult only pools safe and true (Kids will be kids and adults also are problematic!!! - No ball games means just that!!!). In the lobby bar, Zoltan and Itsi were outstanding, always pleasant and with a friendly humourous approach. On the reception, Jamie was special, his 'Why makes things difficult' approach was always evident, any problems were dealt with swiftly and with no fuss. The hotel is kept very clean and the food outstanding in all areas. The cocktails, beers and bar snacks were plentiful and rather nice. This hotel is outstanding and we would like to thank all concerned for their efforts in making this short break so good. The interaction between management and staff was always evident thus ensuring, the seamless high service levels.
