Our great stay at Home Farm The chalet was very clean. It was nice and quiet at night. The continental breakfast was great and if we needed anything our hosts were very obliging. Can’t think of any negatives. We are sure that if guests with young children were to stay the kids would love to see and engage with the different animals on the farm. All told we would give this accommodation a ten out of ten.

Absolutely tranquil spot , beautifully maintained gardens with seating areas , lovely warm welcome , arrived early not expecting to get the key but as the room was ready we were able to check in . Room was spotless rustic but modern , super comfy bed , little kitchenette with milk coffee all sorts of tea provided. Little tray of snacks provided peanuts biscuits and little chocolates , lovely touch. Fruit bowl and bottled orange juice and water also provided. Extra bonus was the restraunt next door , food was fabulous , we did pop in to book a table as it does require reservations .When we are back in the area we will definitely book again.

We had a brilliant 1 night stay here on a weekend. The room we stayed in was fantastic,good size and had everything we needed,I wish we had stayed longer! The breakfast was already in the room which I actually really enjoyed,I couldn't believe the choice available,there was yoghurts,fruit,granola,a fresh loaf,porridge,cereal,milk,teas,coffee,hot chocolate, even some britvic orange juice. We were very happy with the extra food in addition to breakfast,chocolates,biscuits and nuts. We went to the pub next door for dinner,we did book with it being a Friday night and was perfect as just a stones throw away. The bed was really comfy and the lounge area nice and cosy,we will definitely come again if in the area. We also met one of the owners when we checked in who was really friendly and available if we needed anything. The location was lovely as were the grounds,even went to see the chickens at the field

Home Farm & Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious with everything we needed, including a kitchen area with kettle, microwave, toaster & a very well supplied fridge! There was a corner sofa, coffee table & TV at one end and a small breakfast table with high stools in the centre and the comfortable king size bed at the other end. The continental breakfast contained everything we could need, plus lots that we didn’t use. (Cereals, porridge sachets, a loaf of bread, jars of jam, honey & marmalade & biscuits & peanuts). In the fridge were yoghurts, fresh milk, fresh fruit, orange juice & butter as well as a carafe of chilled water. All very well thought out. The bathroom was lovely and all toiletries were from a sustainable company in refillable containers. There’s a lovely garden area with table & chairs which, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy. Kerry & Richard were the perfect hosts & nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning.

Relaxing, welcoming and all round fantastic Fantastic location and very welcoming upon arrival. The rooms are huge and very well equipped. The grounds are stunning and I enjoyed a relaxing glass of wine in the garden to relax after a busy work day.
