We were greeted with friendly front door staff evertime we entered the hotel. The front reception/sitting area is rather large and the fire place was on making for a warm reception on this chilly evening. The room itself is very nice, the kitchen has two burners, a microwave, a full fridge and dishes for a family of four as well as pots and pan. There is a desk area with space to spread out and a lamp. The sofa is a hotel sofa, so stiff and not too comfy but clean. The large TV is in between the sofa and bed so it could be seen from either but would need to be turned. A turntable for the TV would be a nice addition. The shower was clean with glass sliding doors and shower gel/conditioner and shampoo available. The water was very hot! It was a really nice shower. The bed was comfortable, pillows are a tad too soft for me, but there are two so you can pile them up. The room AC is adjustable and definitely heated and cooled well. The room was vacuumed and appeared clean, but was dusty behind the TV (we had to pull it out as the cable was misbehaving) and the bottom of the lamps/baseboards are dusty. The free breakfast was nice! Sometimes the hotel breaksfasts are meager. This was not. First day was biscuits, gravy, sausage, pre made omelets (slightly rubbery), oatmeal with fruit, brown sugar and nuts, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, OJ, coffee, milk and tea. Second day was grits instead of oatmeal and potatoes instead of biscuits. The ladies in the breakfast area are soo sweet. One of them told me today that they take care of their customers and this is the best Homewood suites, she just wishes she could stay here :). apparently you can't stay if you work here. They were So kind and attentive. If we ever ran into staff they smiled and were kind. My husband said to me ”they must have good management to have staff who appear happy”. In the eating area: The seats were clean, available and no crumbs etc on the tables. Outside the parking lot is well lit, but some of the parking lot is a dirt lot which was not as nice. Overall I am very grateful to have found this hotel. GREAT stay. It was too cold to even think about the hotel pool...so I don't know and did not visit the gym. I did notice that there were construction workers staying here, and using the grill out back two evenings we were here. I thought that was great that they had that as an option. It says something that people are staying here for long term stays. I saw a travel nurse here as well. You can't go wrong staying here! I saw one of the negative reviews, she was NOT reviewing this hotel. She must have picked the wrong one to review by accident. This is a nice hotel!

La habitación era limpia y espaciosa. Este hotel está siendo renovado, sin embargo, la única manera que nos afectaba fue con el salón de concierge que estaba fuera en un pequeño armario como una habitación junto a la sala de conferencias. El desayuno en el salón era medio por un desayuno hotelero complimentar y por lo tanto las cenas de la noche. Una cosa que parecía extraña en este hotel fue que cuando salimos del ascensor a nuestro piso era como estar en un pequeño salón y no estoy seguro de qué propósito era ese espacio. La ubicación del hotel es excelente y estará cerca de todos los tipos de restaurantes y tiendas.

Nuestra primera visita fue una agradable sorpresa. Fuimos bienvenidos con sonrisas y consideración. La comida era sabrosa, fresca y abundante. Una de las mejores bosques de casa que hemos permanecido. Nuestro próximo parada en Augusta estará en este hotel. ¡Volveremos!

When we checked in & found our king room to be just that, a bed with a king bed and nothing else in the room to sit on except a desk chair, we went back to the front desk & inquired if there was a king room with a small sofa or upholstered chairs. Brian at the front desk told us there was a king suite available for LESS than we had booked at. We were delighted with the room change & with Brian's polite & fast service! The room itself was very clean & comfortable. The only negatives we noticed is that there were several hall trashcans which were full, evidence I'm sure of the continued labor issue, and no forks at all were available at the breakfast.

Queríamos ahorrar unos pocos dólares de las propiedades de Hilton (nuestra ida-a-). Estaba aquí con esposa. Hotel era todo lo que querías. Calma, limpia, cómoda y segura. Llama al recepcionista que nos ha inspeccionado - muy amable y informativo. También - las galletas son las mejores - gracias

¡Qué bonito alojamiento! ¡Qué buenos habitaciones limpias, espaciosas con cocina en ellas. El personal era amigable y útil. El desayuno tenía una gran variedad de opciones. Estaría aquí otra vez!
