Ranfurly Evergreen Motel

As we drove up we noticed that the outside was run down. In our room there was no television aerial cord we told the young man and he was happy to get one, then we noticed there was a large saucepan but no hot plate to use it on, so he got us a portable electric old hot plate but only one element was working. There was no cooking utensils, only a bare minimum of eating utensils and plates and one wine glass, no dish washing liquid or sponge, no plug in the sink, he gave us a replacement but it was perished and ended up with a hole in the top. The front door wouldn’t lock which we didn’t realise until later so anyone could of come into our room when we weren’t there. It just seemed to be one thing after the other that was wrong. On a positive note the bed was comfortable, fresh towels, soap and shampoo, it was clean but there were stains on the carpet. In the kitchen there was a microwave. Good location. In all it was very disappointing!
