The room was very charming, the bed is comfey after a long day and the hosts are beautiful people, very accommodating. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast, my hubby loved the scones. Loved the fresh flowers displayed from the graden. We would stay again.

Charming B&B in the Heart of the Kildare Countryside I had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B, set on a working farm in the peaceful Kildare countryside. The building itself is full of character, with over 250 years of history, and the gardens are absolutely beautiful, perfect for a relaxing stroll. It was the ideal spot for a quiet getaway. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast each morning was delicious and really set me up for the day. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil, scenic setting

wonderful price, fab hosts and the most beautiful house and location in Athy. Mary and her husband are so lovely, a host of knowledge about the house itself, property and area. We had a family room and a double room no complaints for anything. great sleep and full irish breakfast with homemade scones :) We will return

Nice place and Mary is lovely, only downside was a spring sticking out of the edge of the mattress sliced my leg , not much said back about it either !! Breakfast was a bit of a let down after reading all the other reviews, maybe cause i was the last person there

The stay was wonderful, and Raymond and Mary were incredibly attentive. From the moment I arrived, they made sure I felt comfortable and at home. I slept like a baby, and the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh options that truly exceeded my expectations. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

We had a wonderful stay in Moate lodge when we were at a wedding nearby. It’s a beautiful house and location. We received a 5-star welcome from Raymond and Mary. The rooms are lovely and spotless in this historic house. And the breakfast was delicious. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
