The Grove Seaside Hotel

Be aware that this hotel caters for large coach parties, some of whom can be rather noisy on early morning departures. The breakfast had a good selection but was marred by the quality of the coffee. The hotel is clean throughout. The pool is super, large and absolutley pristine. The hotel also has sunbeds on the beach. Best of all are the staff in reception who are so welcoming and so helpful.

We only stayed one night as our other booking could not accommodate an extra night, but what a little hidden gem the Grove Seaside Hotel was. Located down a narrow road and along the sea front the hotel was easy to find. There appeared to be a few tavernas close by and hotel had its own parking which as we had a car was a real bonus. Staff at reception and the pool bar were very helpful and friendly despite the fact we were only staying one night. Great cocktails and cold beer were served with little snacks, which was a nice touch. We ate dinner at the hotel, unusual for us but enjoyable. Like breakfast it was buffet style with a good selection although the eggs at breakfast were very over done. The beach and sea is just steps away so it’s a great location. The pool bar run a beach service of food, drinks and snacks on the beach from a limited menu. Although, anything you ask for not on the menu seemed to be available. The sea was like a mill pond in the morning with fish swimming around which showed how clean it was. Very safe swimming. More choppy and fun in the afternoon so more care is needed but there is also a life guard on duty. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a side sea view and a tiny balcony. The bathroom looked tired and needed a refurb. Hence the 4 stars. The hotel is literally steps away from the Stoney beach so beach shoes are useful. There’s also path over the stones and a ramp into the sea which will save your dignity setting in and out of the water. It looked like two school trips arrived the day we were there so we were glad to be leaving but we enjoyed our stay and would consider it for a future trip as long as no large groups were booked in.

Fabulous, friendly Hotel, great location! This place was a great find. Rooms were spotless, double bed comfy and each room has its own small balcony with either a sea view or garden view. The restaurant had a buffet facility and you can eat inside or outside. The location is a hop and a skip from the beach which offers guests sun loungers and beach parasols. The views of Tolo and the surrounding mountains are beautiful. Reception staff were friendly and helpful - as were the restaurant staff. The outdoor pool is big (no idea why a previous reviewer said it wasn't!) and is next to a nice poolside bar ( although a bit pricey compared to other local bar offerings). The location is perfect for the numerous local excursion possibilities including the lovely town of Nafplio and the ancient city of Mycaenae. The breakfast buffet was generous, and full of fresh fruit, yoghurt, lovely breads, sometimes freshly made pancakes, cheeses, eggs, cold meats etc. Would thoroughly recommend this establishment set in a delightful orange grove.

Very pleasent hotel and staff, veriaty of meals, on the beach with ensured sunbeds and umbrella, very good price/value ratio, free parking, spatious rooms, very clean and high higienic standars, simply very good recommendation!

Beautiful clean At The Grove, we encountered an extraordinary display of kindness and hospitality. They went over an above in accommodating my gluten allergy and ensured at each meal what I could safely eat. For those who have food allergies this is a huge challenge on holiday. The hotel was beautiful decorated, spacious reception and dining area. We had optional dining inside it out with the view of landscaped area and the pool. Ocean was cool but it’s only May and this was something we were aware of. The staff and management Anna, Kelly, Giorgos and all the throughout our journey left an indelible mark on our souls and reminded us of the transformative power of compassion.We took a taxi to various places to see the historic places. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. I feel truly blessed.

A great hotel in a fantastic location... but the staff is what makes the hotel. Located 20 from nafplio right on a lively beach the hotel itself is very comfortable and super clean. Breakfast was excellent quality with local products. Best part however is the super friendly staff. Everyone from the reception to the manager to the ladies taking care of the rooms were super friendly and kind and made us feel more like we were in a family hotel than a huge 4 star complex. Many amenities such a pools a beach bar tennis court and child play area. Highly recommend
