Fantastic place, perfect woodland paradise down a long dirt road through mile after mile of forest and lakeland views. 2hrs from Helsinki on the edge of a vast lake. Free rowing boats and a private jetty into the lake. Take some rods, we caught no fish but didn’t care :-)

We stayed here one night suring our honey moon. The Haasi Mirror house was an unforgettable experience. Everything was top-on (decoration, tidyness, details, breakfast, sauna, included activities). The only minus was the dinner which was served to our room. The price is 55€/person and it was okay but you can get much better food feom any restaurant. Although there aren’t mny dining places nearby to choose from so I guess better than nothing at the end? The view is unbelievable (we stayed at Kimallus). Yacuzzi was excellent, sauna very good, easy access swimming. The price would have included electric bicycles and SUPs but we had too much fun yacuzzing etc to give those a try. One night all-inclusive was 490€+foods but it was worth it!

Our family booked the Villa 1 (Huvila 1) for one week. Luckily the weather was the best Finnish summer can offer, sunny and around +30 C all week, for the Villa itself was a huge disappointment and definitely not worth the money. The interior was outdated, the cleaning was done a bit poorly (it was dusty, there was a used coffee filter left inside the 90's coffee machine, the dishwasher was full of dishes left by the previous guests and there were multiple spider webs in the room corners). The doors inside the Villa were somehow swollen so closing the bathroom door or any room door caused a loud noise and needed to be done by using some force. The hot tub was not working properly. The filters were so dirty there were no bubbles coming out of the jets, and some jets were broken off and did obviously not work even after the janitor came to change clean filters to the tub. The sauna section inside the Villa 1 was so outdated that it was not either comfortable or safe to go to a shower even, for the water stayed on the floor and the shower room soon "flooded" with soap water causing a dangerously slippery floor. When we wrote a reclamation to the resort on the second day of our stay, we did not get any compensation for the inconvenience caused by the outdated and clearly overpriced Villa. Not even an apology was presented. The only answer was that the janitor will come by. Well, even he is not magician and cannot renovate the shower room or fix the broken jets in the hot tub... We were very disappointed by the level of customer service. The beds were good and the air-conditioning worked well, otherwise we did not have positive things to say about the Villa 1 and would not recommend it for other guests. Not before the Villa is either thoroughly renovated.
