Premier Inn Ashington

Lovely hotel, lovely location and friendly staff. Bedrooms spotless, the lake outside the hotel is so pretty and couldn’t have been a nicer stay

Stayed here 2 nights opted for the meal deal both nights (well worth it) Room was as expected clean , comfiest bed ever Restaurant was a nice setting for breakfast etc all the meals were enjoyable & one of the best Premier Inn breakfasts we've had Helen on reception was lovely The only niggle is .. as a smoker when I left husband in the room watching tv , I needed the key card to get through a couple of doors (2 cards would be helpful)

Visited here during a warm spell recently and couldn’t wait to leave. Plenty of free parking and the setting is lovely in the country park. The room was very tired and extremely warm during the night. No air con and the window only opened an inch so couldn’t get any air into the room. Absolutely roasting. Pub next door was very average. Plenty of better Premier Inns nearby.

We've only ever been to the attached Cookhouse and pub before, but this time stayed at the inn as well. It's a typical Premier Inn. The room was pleasant and quiet. There's plenty of free parking and it's set within a country park so has a pleasant outlook and something to do in the evening. Next door is a Cookhouse and Pub for food. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

We had a 5 night stay in May 2025 and the service from premier inn staff was excellent but the same as previous visits you are let down badly by the pub house restaurant and bar as no where enough staff as tables littered with dirty crockery and the time between courses on average 20 to 30 minutes and just as bad trying to get a drink. I also found that the breakfast not up to normal premier inn standard as food left under heat lamps far to long to the point you could have played football with there fried eggs. We will use again but will not have breakfast or meals on site. The pub house has got no set closing time as myself and my wife called in for a nightcap after being out with family at 10.10 to be told quite abruptly we are closed, for my money the whole place is a shambles

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings,Thankyou especially to Jackie for accommodating my elderly mum and changing our rooms.Food in the resteraunt/pub adjoining the hotel is excellent and good value.The hotel itself is very clean and well organised and the staff were great
