The Applewood Manor

We stayed at Applewood and had our daughter's wedding there over Memorial Day weekend. The property was beautiful, and the owners could not have been more wonderful! Truly, they were as accommodating and helpful as could be, so we were able to relax and just enjoy a magical weekend.

Not having stayed in a B&B in a while, this was such a warm and fun experience in a classic yet eclectic inn. The highlights were the art collection, the adorable neighborhood, the food and wine, and of course, the innkeepers and staff! So much better than staying in a cold, corporate hotel. The neighborhood was walkable with yummy restaurants. The sitting areas and outdoor environments were very relaxing and inspiring. The accommodations in the room were well thought-out and comfortable (especially the fresh baked cookies, wine selections and L’occintine toiletries). And, the delicious breakfasts made by Robin were divine. I will definitely be returning soon!

Our recent stay at Applewood Manor was fantastic. Nestled in picturesque surroundings, this historic manor seamlessly blends classic charm with modern luxury. The meticulously designed interiors and well-manicured grounds create a serene atmosphere. Our accommodations were luxurious, featuring tasteful decor and attention to detail. Applewood's impeccable service and warm hospitality made us feel like cherished members of the Applewood family. Breakfast, a culinary delight, showcased Robin's expertise in every delightful dish. What set Applewood Manor apart was its stunning art collection, adding an artistic flourish to our experience. Each piece told a story, enhancing the manor's ambiance and offering a unique touch to our stay. Adding to the charm were three adorable French Bulldogs who warmly greeted us upon arrival. Their playful antics and affectionate nature brought an unexpected and delightful dimension to our stay, making us feel even more at home. Beyond the manor, the breathtaking landscapes offered a tranquil escape from the everyday hustle. We eagerly anticipate our return to this oasis in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the Applewood Manor. The hosts, Robin & Stephen, are warm and hospitable creating a great experience. The bed & breakfast was wonderful including the spectacular art work, comfy and spacious suite and delicious breakfasts. We recommend!

Ideal location in historic district; breakfast is not to be missed--specially prepared by the owner who is an outstanding chef. Home is beautifully decorated with artwork by local artists that you can find in the River Walk art district and the rooms are comfortable, with exceptional decorative details. Guests are made at home immediately, and the relaxed atmosphere is exactly what travelers need. Definitely an ideal stop in Asheville!

Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend! Robin and Stephen and the rest of the staff are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts are great, the rooms are very clean with great beds and bedding, l’occitane products, homemade cookies, nespresso coffee machines. The house is beautifully decorated and in a wonderful walkable neighborhood.
